Today was supposed to be the last session of the whole 2 leader 1 anchor thingy. I honestly wasn’t in the mentality to go through more intense training.

Since I was supposed to bench today I figured I would just get the testing over with.

Didn’t get 5 but still a pr. I can’t complain I only benched once a week for the whole 9 week program. I will just have to do more.

Next week hope to press 135x5
and deadlift 405x5

50-100 Weighted chins (Probably gonna find an alternative I can barely do these)

I would highly advise against posting pictures of 5/3/1 Forever. Jim works hard to keep it off the internet and not pirated.

just to sum it up. I deadlifted 2 hours ago.

Bench: 225 lbs x 3
Squat: 295 lbs x 7
Deadlift: 405 lbs x 3
Press: 125 lbs x 7

New Goals
Bench: 235 lbs x 5
Squat: 355 lbs x 5
Deadlift: 455 lbs x 5
Press: 155 lbs x 5

Well uhhh probably not gonna hit a 500 lb deadlift before 2021 (455x5). I think the squat goal is doable tho maybe.

Probably could’ve put more effort into this session when it came to squatting and actually doing the assistance cause I didn’t . It’s pouring outside I guess it kinda toys with my motivation a lil.

The squat felt great. Pretty sure I could’ve gotten 5. I was kinda scared tho since the backporch was wet. I’ll just aim to get 4 or 5 next week.

Pressing was awesome. It felt like the volume would make my press grow.

I was thinking of staying on the fullbody template 16 for 3 cycles then I would have the anchor.

Tbh this is just an excuse to do a pr set of Squatting 325 and Deadlifting 395 during training.

Still working out the assistance. Legs get demolished so i might just only do upper body on the days I deadlift and squat. For the day i only squat i guess i can go nuts with dumbbell romanians, goblets,

Don’t be afraid to stick with just ab work for lower body when doing a full body template. Lot of lower body volume already so your knees/back will be more pissed than usual.

Generally, if I do this I’ll be in a chiropractor’s office within a couple weeks. Take advantage and bulletproof your core as much as you can.
