Every minute on the minute sets could be a good option too. Try doing 8 reps/set for 10 minutes. That’ll get both your lungs and body working.
I really don’t know, haha.
5x10
6x10
7x10
etc.
would probably work just fine. If you did 6x10 then on the 7th set only got 8 reps, you did a total of 68 reps, so you could stay there until you get all 70.
Or you could just set a rep goal, say 50 reps at first, and try to get there in as few sets as possible. This would require a couple AMRAP sets though which you sound tired of.
I’ll try the first way for deadlifts
and goblet squats.
I can try the other way later
Sounds good dude

So now I have a branch to do hlr tomorrow. This is the first session of a new cycle. @boilerman inspired me to do pullups because why not since I was gonna use a tree for hlr.
I know you guys have been talking about the mindset change. It was cause of you guys, I was being a dick with my excuses and ignoring people and it really is wise to learn from successful people. I tossed the ego. Last thing I wanna do is lose the privilege of valuable minds sharing their success and ideas.
What are hlr?
Edit: nevermind, I got it. I’m a dumbass
Can buy gymnast rings for pretty cheap from Amazon, Rogue, etc.
Those + that tree branch = pull-ups, rows, dips, pushups, ab movements, curls, tricep extensions, etc.
Up to you but it’d open up a lot of options.
Alright I need a new plan. I watched @flappinit video on hanging leg raises. 10 min ago I went outside. I couldn’t straighten my arms or legs I was too tall. Branch beside that didn’t work. The other one I would’ve just kicked the fence. I went back inside to find the ab wheel. I found the wheel, but not the handle.
I was thinking of doing v ups and a plank unless there’s other alternatives
I bought an ab wheel at five below for probably $5 a few yrs ago and it still works fine, not sure how much shopping you’re doing under current conditions but it’s the kind of thing that can be acquired cheaply in places where you wouldnt necessarily think for fitness equipment.
You could also see if you can find a small rod or pipe that fits in the wheel you’ve got.
I’m in the UK but there’s loads of cheap ab wheels on Amazon here. If not though you could just walk out with your hands or something. I think Brian Alsruhe has some good ab videos on YouTube that might give you ideas. I think V ups and planks would work anyway though.
This was yesterday. Nothing went as planned so I improvised.

@jshaving I honestly doubted my ability to do 5x10. I guess I underestimated myself.
Good stuff man, just do what you can. I’d second @caesium32 to check out Brian’s ab vids on YouTube. He has some pretty unconventional movements and different stages of difficulty for each. You should be able to find a couple that will work with your limited equipment.
Also, @burnur has a good point. Get a measuring tape or caliper (I think I remember you saying your dad works construction? Can’t quite remember) and measure diameter of the hole of the wheel. I’d assume it’d be over 1/2" or 5/8". Then measure the width of the wheel itself. Once you have your measurements, figure out how wide the grip has to be in order for you to fit your hands on it.
Bring your measurements and measuring device to home depot or any plumbing supply place and find black steel pipe nipples. Take your wheel hole measurement and find a nipple that’s diameter is small enough to fit through the hole fairly snug but able to move freely, and long enough for the threads to stick out on either side. Get a couple of couplings to screw onto the ends of the nipple and buy two more that are wide enough to fit your hands on. Screw those into the other side of the couplings. Make sure to clean the pipe with a rag, and probably not a bad idea to wrap it all in athletic tape. There is usually a bit of threading oil on the pipe that makes it pretty slippery, and it’ll start to rust due to sweat.
Oops posted same session accidentally

New floor press pr. My brother also bought a bench with incline and decline. So I can do actual dumbbell bench presses soon.
@aldebaran have you ever done decline dumbbell bench press. Has it made the shape of your chest better If I recall you said you had gyno
Actually I have! Last year doing pure bodubuilding. Long sets with long TUT. It was really good sensations!
I think I just need bigger pecs is all. I have little hard stuff in my nipples that will only go away with surgery, some lose skin and I hold some fat on my chest. If I stay lean and have a bigger chest it will look better for sure.
I think the stuff on which I felt the most my chest was lying cable flyes
