Ballooning up is a GOOD thing if max performance is the goal.
Breakfast burritos rock, as @atlas13 has demonstrated. I have one every morning, and it’s just a joy.

Wow I suppose that was the beauty of GOMAD besides the calories and protein.
This whole food conversation confuses me. I’m just gonna eat whatever I want and do whatever. It’ll be my own frankenstein of diets.
What’s confusing you about it my dude? It’s worth understanding.
Just call me, Mr Balloon
Nothing is really confusing, it’s just that it would be beneficial to me to know what I’m putting into my body and how it relates to the muscle building process. Knowing that information could really help me make decisions on the kinds of foods I will eat. The only thing I know is that there are muscle building properties found in meat, but when it comes to fats and carbs I have no clue.
There’s also keto and sugar free foods, idk how that stuff is made.
Are you wanting to learn/know?
Yeah man I am, otherwise not knowing is going to bother me.
So that Deep Water e-book you’ve read has a big section at the end that talks about dietary fats. Go back and give it a re-read.
Along with that, this website has some great reads
For keto stuff, the big thing there is “net carbs”. That you’ll wanna google, just to understand how it’s calculated.
It depends on the product. For things that are typically be carb heavy like breads-
So it’s mostly marketing speak.
Sugar free is almost always done by using sugar substitutes like aspartame. FYI- the science behind whether the sugar substitutes are actually a good substitute for sugar is fuzzy.
Thank you, to the both of you. I will start reading the articles you have provided. I appreciate how you take time out of your day to provide me those even when technically I could do my own research.
On the other note……
Conjugate Training
Week 4 Day 4
Speed Bench
10 x 3 - 180 lbs —-> 175 lbs (10 - 60 sec rest in between sets)
Dips - 4 x 10 - Bodyweight
Tricep Rope Pushdown - 4 x 10 - 50 resistance
Plate Front Raise - 4 x 14 - 45 lb plate
Pullups - 3 x AMRAP
Tabata Dumbbell Thrusters - 30 lb dumbbells
Incline Treadmill Walk - 2.0 Speed - 11.0 Incline - 30 minutes
Training took place this morning. Speed bench weight is too heavy, I will lower weight like 20 lbs or so next week so I can keep up with 10-20 second rest in between sets.
Bodyweight - 234.2 lbs
Well, I’m not surprised my weight stayed the same. I started eating 2400 calories today, which is honestly a blessing, the less I eat the better lol especially now that I’m just starting to get creative.
Also, somehow the time it takes to prepare food is still kind of annoying.
Wholeheartedly approve of this meal
I wholeheartedly approve of the phenomenal weight loss progress you’ve posted on your log.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. Should of never let myself get that bad in the first place, buts it’s good to be feeling like the old me again
Long live atlas prime!
Happy to help dude, and holy cow you are still eating like a champ, haha. You have my envy.
You ever see some of the Punisher/Ghost Rider crossovers?
And Tim…if you’re looking for 288 street taco sized 1 carb tortillas for $45…I might have a hookup, haha.
Dude I have seen that top panel before, I was watching a YouTube video and it talked about how Ghost Rider’s penance stare doesn’t work on The Punisher. So I did some googling and saw exactly that. You ever hear of cosmic ghost rider?
That’s a lot of tortillas ![]()
I have plenty for now, but when I run out ![]()
