Super Squats

Week 3 Day 3

Behind the Neck Press - 3 x ? - 125 lbs (Either it was too heavy or my form was not good. Movement still feels awkward, might be my fault for trying to press it from behind my neck at the start as if I were high-bar squatting, that’s been working up until now, as it just feels like I should not do that).

Bench press - 3 x 12 - 205 lbs

Bent over rows - 2 x 15 - 185 lbs

E-Z Curl Bar - 2 x 5 - Tbh idek I had a 45 and 2.5 on each side. (Too heavy)

Parallel Breathing Squat - 1 x 20 - 330 lbs

Rader chest pull - 1 x 20

Stiff-legged deadlift - 1 x 15 - 340 lbs

Rader chest pull - 1 x 20

Toe raises - 3 x 20 - 75 lb dumbbell

Sit-Ups - 1 x 25

I am currently halfway done with the program. My goal for this program is to keep adding 10 lbs each session and not fail the squats until the 6 weeks are up. Is it possible? Lol idk let’s find out.

This is definitely limiting you. Set up with the bar in FRONT, press it up and pass it behind your head and THEN press. The ROM only needs to be down to around your ears. Going lower can torque your shoulders, but if nothing else it’s a terrible starting position as far as power transfer goes.

Man, I think I need a little public accountability like @throwawayfitness .

My milk consumption for this entire week was mediocre. I let college work get the best of me. By mediocre I mean, majority of the time I could only manage half a gallon since this week was so busy (I also can’t consume so much at once or else I screw up my guts, that happened this Tuesday)

So what I am going to do is simple. I will keep buying regular whole milk (since I can get it in bulk) but also buy lactose free milk to finish off the job of reaching a gallon.

Week 4 Day 1

Squat

340 lbs x 12

Definitely could’ve gotten the 20 if I had the mindset but I did not at all. Went into the gym with an “I don’t feel like doing this” mindset

The program is very demanding especially with food and it has been making me somewhat irritable with all the free time it has taken from me.

It takes me quite awhile to get all the food and milk down and to balance that with college related stuff takes a toll. I was able to work up to a gallon of milk yesterday so that was cool but, I’m really sick of this program, it sucks.

Not gonna quit the program (never has that been a thought) but I could use a mental break or something. I guess this session will suffice since I just went home after the squats since I truly didn’t feel like lifting at all today. Will get back to crushing it on Wednesday.

These days absolutely happen on the program. They’re great for building up the obsession. You’ve been pushing the 10lb jumps: go to 5s.

There’s also this cat as well. I like to think those two are a couple since I’ve seen them hanging out together. (Man I gotta take better pictures).

I gotta feed em one day, I’m so tempted but they might end up asking me for food all the time :joy:

That is a great way to be adopted by a cat. Unless somebody else is already sneaking them snacks. Then its a battle of quality.

My last kitty Grey-grey was a bird cat. She loved turkey, chicken, and real birds, but could care less for any type of fish. Salmon, tuna, what ever fish sandwiches are made of meant nothing to her.

My old cat Kitty-witty, she was a fish cat. Didn’t care for any type of bird, but ate plenty of ground based critters, Until you crack a can of tuna. Then she became the most kind and loving kitty in the world until the tuna was gone.

I taught him to play soccer in the bathtub. The smooth curved surfaces are great for that.

Time management can be frustrating sometimes. I’ll probably have to go to the gym like an hour later tomorrow which isn’t really a problem. It’s just that, even around that time (4 am - 5 am) it can get crowded at the gym which is really fucking annoying. Same ol meatsacks that take up space and waste time in the squat racks, lol I kinda miss being on that back porch.

Will be implementing more peanut butter/peanuts and I will be going with only lactose free milk to make sure I get a gallon every time and not just a couple days of the week. I’m sick of this shit.

My legs felt like jelly during warmups, I can feel the under recovery.

I am happy about how the upper body lifts are going but I don’t want to keep failing my lower body lifts until the 6 weeks are up, that would piss me off one thousand fold.
