Nothing crazy today as far as lifting is concerned, wasn’t motivated enough to push super hard. In fact I honestly thought I was going to skip this entire session for two reasons: it’s 16 degrees outside, cloudy as well, and I trained yesterday.

Somehow I found the willpower to squeeze my hard conditioning on the same day. Glad I didn’t skip this session but, I really did not feel like training today.

Way to get it done anyway, my dude—especially given all of this:

And nice squatting, too!

Thanks man, I’m going back to college tomorrow so next week I’ll be training in Gold’s Gym. It is going to be so nice not training in super cold weather. Ughhh the feeling of a freezing cold barbell…

You may one day reach the point where you’d rather train by yourself on freezing cold equipment than share with others. I know I am that way. I can’t stand communal training environments.

:joy: I can definitely understand that, it’s mad annoying when there’s a bunch of people on equipment.

But people aren’t a big problem for me at the gym, luckily majority of gym-goers think the same, as in they don’t show up to the gym in the early morning. I used to go to the gym around 3 pm and it was absolutely terrible. A lot of traffic on the way there (I hate driving because of people) and the gym is super crowded.

I’ve always fantasized about me owning a house with a garage gym but for a different reason, I hate driving.

unpopular opinion, but I like training with ppl.

I like to be around ppl since I don’t have much interpersonal interaction otherwise.

I wouldn’t mind training with someone if they moved like a machine otherwise they are just a burden. Also, they have to be doing the same thing I’m doing.

oh, I don’t mean actually training WITH someone- that would be very difficult to coordinate

I meant having other ppl in the gym. Even if I don’t actually interact with them, It’s nice to be around ppl.

Same, I hate training with people, I enjoy training around people. I usually split days between the house and the gym.

I am a happy man because I stuffed the college apartment freezer/refrigerator with grass fed ground beef, ground turkey, and 100+ eggs. Thanks for giving me a head start with groceries dad!

Thanks man! Gotta make sure I stay on top of that diet. I just have to watch out for soda, my roommates bring a lot of that over and they’re willing to share. My parents never allowed soda in the house or really any soft drink. That stuff is super tempting and addicting which is a no no.

Moved like a machine so far this morning. Woke up at 3:30 am unintentionally, wanted to wake up at 5 but honestly I’m just going to do that again cause I save myself more time. I’ll be doing 3 days of hard conditioning now since I decided not to add another PR set or Widowmaker. Will probably add more days of easy conditioning as well (burpees or something I guess).

Still a bit annoyed I have to use uber to get to the gym but it’s worth it. Besides I’ll get another student loan refund and I’ll also be employed this summer so I guess it doesn’t matter in the end.

I can definitely understand this. I am kind of lucky that my gym is generally quiet and I just set up in a rack in the corner and no one goes near me. Friend of mine gave me the nickname of the Silent Assassin because I silently appear, work and silently disappear :joy:.

Would’ve been a pretty cool title for your training log

I finished all my meals at 2:27 pm today and it was super weird. Right now, I’m not hungry yet I could really just eat something now. I think it would just be gluttony though. Given the progress I’ve been making I suppose I don’t need to eat more.

Hey dude, I’m curious what a normal day of eating looks like for you? I’m pretty sure our stats are pretty close as far as lifts/height/weight are concerned, if I’m not mistaken. I think it’s be interesting to see what you eat in a day, and maybe I’ll steal some ideas from you haha.

1 lb of canned salmon
2 tbsp of almond butter or peanut butter

1 lb of canned chicken
couple handfuls of peanuts

2 scoop protein shake in 16 oz of milk
2 tbsp of almond butter or peanut butter

1 lb of ground beef chili with tomatoes and mexican blend cheese

Lol this was what I ate today. I eat like this or similar to this daily.

Sometimes I’ll have 7 eggs 4 slices of bacon with cream cheese as well. I’m looking forward to eating that tomorrow for breakfast.
I will also have ground turkey chili sometimes as well.
