No problem, they’re pretty great especially for the price.
Half of the ones I have now are practically in pieces.
Realized I owe like 4 days of conditioning (counting that bizarro workout on monday as one) so I’m just gonna squeeze it all in today and tomorrow.
@SvenG looking at your log reminded me that I must do the conditioning
Glad I could help, haha!
I know you’re doing a 5/3/1 template now, but are you still thinking of tackling Super Squats soon(-ish)?
After 6 weeks of this template dude, I will be running Super Squats. Around early February is when I will start it.
Can’t wait to see you crush it! Just might be all the motivation I need.

Checked a video I took and realized I unfortunately miscounted on the Squat Widowmaker.
I believe my Bench TM is too high, glad I’m noticing now and not later. Definitely going to the lower the weight.
Tried squatting 185 lbs for 100 reps as assistance but my knees could not take it. That’s okay perhaps it can just be something I do on the first training day of the week. Did ab work instead.
Was going for 15-20 on the Squat PR set but I miscounted lol.
Did I train hard today? YES!!
@jshaving Do you have a training log? I’d like to follow along.
I do but I don’t remember the last time I posted in it. I think it’s called Rewind to 10th Grade because I was in awesome shape in 10th grade lol. Training has been sporadic lately, simply because I’m not placing it high enough on my list of priorities. Besides that, it was rarely ever that interesting, as in, I wasn’t doing cool programs like Deep Water, haha.
My mindset has changed a lot though, over the past several months, or maybe year. For the majority of my training “life” I was very much into reading something training or nutrition related and letting it make me think I had to completely switch up my approach in order to have everything be “optimal.” I’m learning the simple but sometimes hard to grasp lesson that as long as you’re consistent and work hard, things work.
But like I said, I’ve just chosen to focus on other things lately. There’s definitely always time to train, I’m just not making it. Mindset hasn’t been great for a while.
Are you okay jshaving? Are you getting bogged down by the kid and work?
I’m fine. Life, like I said to you a couple of weeks ago, is good as can be. There’s nothing I should be complaining about.
I am busy, but that is life. Being a parent is something I’ve always wanted and planned on, and while it takes time and energy, that’s just how it goes. My work is currently pretty easy, and I’m a college student, which, while it doesn’t mean I don’t do “work,” does mean it’s pretty cushy. Sitting in a room listening to someone talk, and then reading books and writing papers is not that hard, in the grand scheme of things.
My mindset is just not focused on training right now. I have other things going on that take up physical and emotional energy and that is where I’m choosing to focus myself. I am choosing to catch up on sleep, spend time with family, and read or do other relaxing things when possible. I want to be big and strong, and I want to be a good example of “health” for my son, but right now, I am choosing to do other things. I’m at peace with that decision, for now, although I will obviously need to change gears sooner or later to achieve the results I want.
Glad to hear it buddy!

Instead of buying whey protein I decided to switch it up a bit so I bought this mass gainer. I am slightly regretting choosing the vanilla flavor but oh well.
Alot I missed in here man. Keep it up
Thank you cstan!
Dude, can you return that gainer?
Solid work on the squats man.
Lmfao gave me the biggest laugh of the day ![]()

Some places are pretty cool about returns even on used stuff. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
