Im 20, about 5’10 and weight about 185. Skinny arms, got some junk in the belly, and my legs are ok. I have weight lifted & went on diets and lost about 10lbs in month a half (177lbs). It was going good, i took potein shakes, took vitamins & fish oil caplets regualarly. I made sure i matched & exceeded my weight in grams of protein as well as watch my carb & fat intake. Didnt take a ‘cheat day’ at all when I lifted, and when I finally did it totally took me off of everything. Now that I moved away from home I have had to make my own meals and dont like to drive out to pick get anything fast food. Now that im in school and have met new friends that regularly go to the gym I have picked up the interest in improving myself again, now that I got a group of people to push ourselves to our set goals. I havent taken much supplements when I have worked out besides the protein powder, fish oil caplets & vitamins. When should I start taking other supplements such as ZMA, creatine, as well what is a good fat loss supplement? Im fairly new into the scene, and want to make sure Im headed into the right direction with the supplements. All input is greatly appreciated. THanks for reading!
Don’t worry too much about supplements.
Protein, fish oil and vitamins are some good staple sups. I think you’ve forgotten the most important: your diet and training.
If your training and diet isn’t dialed in then NO supplements in the world will give you the results you’re looking for.
Keep training hard and eat well and then in the future when you need that little extra edge for weightloss, recovery or whatever…
Then it’s time to look more into what’s available.
