Good, healthy, natural remedies; for what its worth though Ill just point out that Valerian root administered in pill or capsule form never did much for me beyond a very mild relaxant effect. YMMV.

i took the pills in combination with the tea. it takes a little while of using it consistently for it to work i think. i started taking it a week before i took the lsats to make sure i was well rested and by day 5 i was crawling to the bed within a half hour.
the other thing to try is any movie with Hugh Grant. i dare you to stay awake.
My dad would mentally play blackjack. Tylenol PM works REALLY well for me.
no TV.
no caffeine 8 hours before bedtime.
dimly lit room, cool temp.
beer and bed…large quantities me be needed to remedy sever cases. Mornings suck tho, but that’s another problem.

Guaging by the time you posted this, you clearly didn’t have enough to drink last night.
If your problems are that bad, try:
No caffeine what so ever.
No carbs what so ever.
Kick your own ass in the gym.
Go do a shitload of cardio after.
If you have problems after that it might be chemical.
Low carb diets absolutely destroy my energy levels. I used to think i had sleep problems before i cut out carbs.
And finally don’t oversleep, it will not help anything, get 7 hours of sleep a night for at least a week, going to bed at the same time, waking up at the same time.
