Does it matter when you collect a blood sample for E2 testing. After 6 to 8 weeks of 1mg EOD, I gave a blood sample the same day I took my arimidex and HCG. I had not given my self my bi weekly testosterone shot the night before since I was giving the blood sample that following day.
I am aware that my free and total testosterone numbers will fluctuated based on when my last shot was so Iâ??m not expecting them to be as high as my last test results. I typically give my blood sample 12 hours before my Tuesday evening injection.
I also understand that the Anastrozole has a half life of about 48 hours there for EOD is a reasonable time frame for dosing but E2 levels take weeks to change. This suggest that they should be relatively steady and I should be getting an accurate assessment of my levels regardless of when I gave the sample relative to when I took my arimidex or my testosterone shot.
Any input on the subject will be greatly appreciated.
