Im 17 yrs old and weigh 130 at 5’7. I’m trying to put on weight and build muscle. I would like to know what are some good workout plans.
And if im trying to build muscle should I stop doing cardio. And is workinh out 4 times a week enough or should I increase.
I’ve read chaging your routine every 4 weeks is good, when is a good time time to go back to your old work outs.I wanna put on as much muscle as I can for the start of football season in sept. Thank-you.

It makes more sense than cutting
But, eat lots. It’s recommended to eat 6 small meals a day, but you’re light, so feel free to cross the boundary. Definately read up on articles though, and be sure to sleep.
Don’t change your workout every 4 weeks…change it when it stops working. If it’s the right kind of plan, it won’t stop working for awhile. When it does, make minor changes, not total overhauls.
If you want to understand how to train for size and strength, type “Madcow training” into your google search engine, and read everything on that site.
Also, eat cheeseburgers and milkshakes. This seems to help with strength.
Hey you are exactley in my shoes when I first started, I was 126ish at 5’7 and now I’m around 170+. Look up Ian King’s Limping and Tweleve weeks to super strength here, it’ll introduce to some pain, but with a lot of growth. Eat! I can stress that you need to eat to grow, figure out what you needd calorie to grow. (bw * 16 + .20) After that, be patient, and size will come.

bw x 16 is a good place to start but if you are not making any gains EAT MORE I know for me bw x 16 would be 3,200 I’ll lose weight eating 3,200 calories! I was eating 4,800-5,200 to gain weight.
To the OP
Eat like a madman, train with intensity, focus on getting stronger.
