Cressey had written lots of stuff about hip flexors, not whole articles, but the info is out there.
Here’s a good article on the subject…

Contact Ian King or a KSI coach. He/They is/are the master(s) when it comes to hip flexor knowledge, education, prevention, flexibility, blahh blahh blahh … (you get my point).
If you don’t have the funds, Stretch your hip flexors! And I don’t mean 30 secs. of static or X amount of secs. with dynamic movements etc…
Dedicate a hr @ least a week to them. IMHO 60 mins. is insufficient time to obtain “good” hip flexor ROM.
This is not the time or post for me to get into stretching prior workout is bad etc…
If your hip flexors suck. Your results suck. If your results suck because your hip flexors suck. You suck. Stop being a pussy and train optimally!

I agree that Cressey and Robertson should write an article about hip flexor tightness/activating the glutes just because I like how they explain things.
However, here is an article I found very helpful on the subject:

Excellent link smallmike. There is also a good link embedded in the above article to one on self-myofascial release (foam rolling).
Thanks for the post.

An HOUR a week exclusively to HF work?? Sounds like a recipe for overuse/overstretching to me.
