Bench felt good. Got the bar all the way down to my chest. Just didnt have enough to get 285 back up. Good thing most benches have the bailout lower pins. I would have been in trouble if they didn’t.

Left arm curl was a cheat, so I will aim to get 45 up on the left arm with proper form before moving up.

I know my squat depth is to parellel, but I’m not sure about my upper body. I looked in the mirror and I was surprided at how far forward I was leaning. Not to 45 degrees, but not far from it. How for forward a lean on squats is too far? I know when I did my front squats I really felt my core and abs workig like crazy. I guess on the lighter sets I will concentrate more on my upper body form. Need to get closer to upright.

EDIT. Today maked the first time my max squat was more than my max bench. Sad I know, but I dont plan to have it reversed again.

Squat is my worst lift, so good job on hammering those out.

Your body is going to lean as far as it must to keep the bar over the middle of the foot. I practically have my chest on my knees when I squat.

Not sad but pretty unusual, I’d say.

I don’t know how you guys can squat with your chest so low. I’d pitch forward in a hurry like that.

UN- great squat work brother and I cannot claim my squat is more than my bench…hangs head, slinks off to the corner and cries! Now get there and burn up some seat time. You still have your bike, don’t you?

Sure do OG. I’m on it about every day. Its too hot to ride during the day, but I’m on it at night.

KB 300 28:30 temp in the mid 90’s at 8:30 at night. And I want to wish a pox on whoever came up with the squat thrust. I get to that part and it takes about 5 min or so to get through 50 of those.

Good ole squat thrust. I think every coach and TI/DI in the military had a special love for those. Had to do them once in full scuba gear. That was fun. Hows your hip flexibility? That may have something to do with the lean.

HEL, I my hip flexibilty is good. I’m not straining to get down, and I can get to parallel, I’m also leaning when I’m standing with the weight too. What really made me notice was when I was standing. And scuba gear? How did you not break an ankle?

Sweet clean deload. Instead of going to the gym I figured I would do some kb meldown. To get myself ready for the 2 month Insanity workout. Today was 26:45. Getting better. The squat thrust is still beating me, but the rest is getting a little easier. Workout temp 95

Your conditioning level must be way up there now. Working out in 90+ heat is crazy. You must be drinking a lot and sweating like a pig.

Well I am sweating like a pig, not going to deny that. And 90+ isn’t that bad if you aren’t in the sun. I usally wait till afet 8. Its way more comfortable that way. And my conditioning is getting better. I am coming down in time when I do the workout. But when I start my next cycle of 5/3/1, I am also going to do the insanity workout, get in some good bodyweight stuff.

Well due to a mistake on my part I screwed up the stopwaych and dont know how long it took. The squat thrusts still sucked, but I was able to rest just a little less each time.

Sounds like a good combo. 5/3/1 and BW training. You’ll be all ripped up in no time.

ECO we will see what happens.

Last day of deload. KB 300 26:45. Not a bad time. Did it around 730 tonight Temp was right around 100. Next time I do it, I will keep my water cloer to me instead of walking over tot it. Prolly would be closer to 26 and a quarter if I had. Well back to 5/3/1 tomorrow or Monday and then Insanity cardio.
