Tim, TC, Chris: A Biotest/T-Mag Weekend

Has any serious thought been given to a yearly “Biotest/Testosterone Weekend”, where for a fee, you spend a weekend totally emmersed in training and nutritional information, workouts, workshops, etc? We could meet the Staff and Contributors One-on-One, get some “hands-on” advice and meet a lot of the guys from the Forum. Make the cost one where only the serious will attend, and I bet it could be fun AND informative!

That sounds like a great idea!

I’m game except about the cost thing. It shouldn’t be so expensive that those of us who are less fortunate could not attend.

I would definately attend, great Idea!

Sounds like the same idea AST used for Max-OT. Probably couldn’t do it otherwise T-mag could get sued… again.

I like the idea though. You shouldn’t have to be a millionaire to attend though. Some of the most serious lifters and/or bodybuilders spend a majority of their hard earned cash on nutrition, gyms or equipment, and/or supplements/gear.

Even a lot of pros (except for the big names) aren’t rich. My point is you don’t have to have a lot of money to be serious about this sport.

I’m all for a Testosterone weekend though. I think it would be cooler to have a lower price and have more attend than have a super high price with only a few people attend. Besides, in the long run it would be better for Biotest/Testosterone to get out the word to as many people as possible about their mag and supplements.

Sorry, guys. I guess the point I was trying to make is that it should be greater than free and CERTAINLY not just for rich Yuppies. Some of the most knowledgable contributors on this site are struggling students or just plain workin’ guys (myself included!). I don’t think the guys at Biotest/Testosterone would “price people out”, but you also don’t want it to be like a Mall Health Fair full of free handouts, T-Shirts and TC sitting at a table giving out samples of “Grow” from little paper cups. Irregardless as to cost (Tim and the guys are the buisnessmen), I think that it would make for a great weekend.

I would definately be interested!

Count me in its a great idea. Hey but do it on the East coast those frigging west coasters get enough as it is!!!

I’m definitely game for the whole idea. It would be tough because unless it is close to the east coast, I would have to pay extra for da plane trip. I would definitely be interested though. This could be a time to introduce new supplements to diehard T-Men!

Do it in Denver! T-Staff, contact Free Colorado University. www.freeu.com It lets independent contractors set up seminars and things, they provide nice facilities and handle all the registering and advertising for you. If you have any questions ask me for my email in a post and I’ll send it to someone.

I’m with Krak, Denver, then those West Coasters wouldn’t get over on the East Coasters, and Denver is pretty centralized to the country anyways, and I only live an hour away.

Any other thoughts, especially from the T-Mag Staff? A well planed one could be a lot of fun!

Maybe twice a year; East Coast and West Coast? Just a thought. If people REALLY want to do something, they’ll find a way…guaranteed…

sounds great, but realistically, it won’t happen. I suggest having atleast 3, maybe up to 5 regions of the country get together and meet with other readers. probably wouldn’t be any t-staff, but you could still have a good time, and probably learn something too. maybe one or 2 people could designate the regions, then found a reader who lives there and who would be willing to take it from there to set it up in their area.

Do you mean like our “No Holds Barred” seminar we had in Florida a few months ago? There’s always a possibility we may do something like that again, but remember T-mag/Biotest is made up of a surprisingly small number of people. To really have a successful weekend seminar, we’d have to do a lot of planning and fly in writers from all parts of the US and Canada, and maybe even Australia if Ian comes. It’s expensive and could even slow down some of the other stuff we have planned, like getting new supplements to the market or prepping the next paper issue of T-mag.

Still, it could happen. Maybe one day we’ll even have one of those cruises like MM2k used to do. I don’t see it happening soon, but if interest is there, you never know.

When was this No Holds Barred" seminar in florida. It must have taken place before i started to read t-mag. I live in florida to damn it. Where was it in florida. If someone says Orlando i sware i shall shit a brick!

Time to shit a brick, Sped.

damn it!

Florida ya say… hmmm… sounds pretty east to me. So a western venue should be the next on the list!
