whats people's thoughts on this new www.workoutpass.com (sorry, it would be a link but i cant figure out how to do that). A lot of it seems hokey - bosu balls...10 minute workouts....work outs centered around spot reduction. But then Eric Cressey and Alwyn Cosgrove are involved.
Was any one able to get in on the promo they apparently did. Certainly doesnt seem worth $99 for a year.
Seems like a worthwhile investment for a trainer looking to get ideas on things to add to their programs. For the trainees though, I’d be a little worried because they may not know how to mold the programs to suit their needs.
Looks like a site that sells free information.

LOL
Thats what I thought. They have programs here for free.
I signed up for it, and I think it really has a lot of good stuff on it. I’m currently doing Cosgrove’s Afterburn program and having pretty good success, and was considering buying Afterburn II. The workoutpass has a bunch of Cosgrove workouts on it, plus some of Craig Ballantyne’s Turbulence Training. Those two sites alone make it worth 99 bucks. There’s a lot of sport specific stuff for swimming, baseball, tennis, etc, plus some more coaching oriented stuff like agility and conditioning workouts. One of the free downloads included in the initial package was for “stair workouts”—I thought this was brilliant. Yeah, there is some hokey stuff like the bosu ball and “workouts for women”, but there is really something for everyone. The exercises are clearly illustrated/animated and easily printable. I’m really into reading about working out and trying lots of new things, so this was a good investment for me.
