sorry for no recent posts on this thread; I have been catching up on the threads of the last 2 pages but just haven’t had time to write. You’re funny as hell & i have a deep appreciation for the balance you have found with family, work, hobbies, etc. Maybe appreciation isn’t the right word, maybe even envious. I will be back on a more regular basis and be more productive when it comes to posting. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Thanks Art. Well the shit hit the fan or I should say the weather hit the town Thursday night. No problems at my place other than a bunch of limbs blown down. The outskirts of the other side of town was a different story. One of my nephews had a whole lot of damage out at his place. Straight line winds wrecked his barn and a lot of his house. His dock on the Tenneessee River was totally wiped out.
Thankfully none of his family or livestock were injured. Most of my family and I spent the last two days out there making his barn and house weather proof, moving trees, and fixing the place up. Used a backhoe and chainsaws to cleared most the trees. A side story. His insurance man, who I think insures everyone in my family, was at his place the next morning before being called. Don’t know how old he is but I got my first car insurance at 16 from him.
On the good side, we didn’t starve while working. Sister-in-laws cooked up a ton of fried chicken and other goodies.
So, no gym for the last couple of days. Everyones headed down to the Knights of Columbus hall for Zydecko tonight and back to the gym tomorrow.
Definitely nothing to brag about on today’s workout. Slept in til 0600. Woke up to the depressing thought that it’s back to work tomorrow. Wife comes home Wednesday so it’s time to clean the house.

I concur with all the recent posts; glad nobody injured & all the other stuff can be fixed, repaired, or replaced. You look like you’re on a tear as far as recent workouts go! Especially liked the workout and the joke you posted that day! Keep it up!
