5 weeks ago, a random total testosterone level
done on me was 962ng…today after 5 weeks
of Vitex a random sample yielded 1732ng which
is almost double and more than 60% higher than
the ULN (both done by RIA which is not the
newest way to do it but hey, I am a cheap
fucker)…so if anyone had any doubts about
Vitex, go have some pre and post labs done
like me and you will be pleasantly surprised
with that you find. -
Nice one Brock - BUT = You still hav’nt told us the dose. My interpretation from previous postings is 1g taken once per day. Is this correct? Yours in humility. JR.
Brock, were you using any other supplements or other compounds of a “supra supplemental” nature before and/or during. The reason I ask is the fact that your T levels were DAMN high already even before the Vitex (and Im jealous of BOTH the pre and the post numbers!).
Specs. from Solarray site: Ingredients: Vitex (Vitex agnus-castus)(berry extract), (Guaranteed 1.13 mg [0.5%] agnuside) 225 mg ~ Vitex (Vitex agnus-castus)(berry) 100 mg ~
It appears they have two different types of vitex.
“Normal” T Levels are 300-1000. But most normal weight lifters Ive seen fall in the 500-600 range while my endurance athletes are even lower. This is assuming no “T-boosters”. So Brock’s 962 is quite high even before Vitex and SUPER high after.
During an Internet search on Vitex I came across a product called FEMAPRIN. In the product description it says that this particular extract (manufactured by Madaus AG of Germany) was the one used in the clinical studies on Vitex, and that it’s prescribed most by doctors in germany. Herb-wise, could this brand be to Vitex what KIRA is to St John’s Wort or what GINSANA is to ginseng? Sounds interesting, but what frightens me is the pink packaging, along with the blurb on the bottle “Balances a woman’s monthly cycle”. REALLY not what I want a girlfriend finding in my medicine cabinet, if you know what I mean.
Most of the better Vitex products are actually
made for women and have femmie names for them.
Tim P. is using something like “PMS Away” or
something like that.
Take the pink pills out of the femmie bottle
and drop them into something else then.
Just to be sure, Vitex can be taken with Clomid, correct? It should help both during and post cycle, in fact even more so with Clomid? I’m pretty sure that is what Brock said in an earlier post, is this right? Thanks.
