Actually European beer has nothing on Australian beer but we could argue that until the cows come home, and yes I am absolutely saying that Europeans are less free than Americans. And that’s pathetic because Americans aren’t all that free. Ask a Brit who not only isn’t allowed to carry a gun, but also can be jailed for carying a pocketknife. Ask a muslim in Paris who is denied their right to wear a stupid Burkha in school. Ask a German who is required to inform the gov’t when they move for more than two weeks or the cops show up at their door looking for them.

I’d agree that the NBA has become unentertaining to watch. Gone are the days of actual “teams”. Now all that’s left is 10 egos on the court competing for who can make the most highlight reels.

I’m also one of those people who are kind of glad in a way that the last couple olympic teams have done so “poorly” (since they are expected to simply roll over any and all competition). This illustrates that the game is being ruined. Basketball is a team sport, and yet the NBA encourages it’s players to insert a great big “I” right smack in the middle of the word team.

What really angers me is when these teams are reffered to as “Dream Team (insert number)”. There was only one “Dream Team” and it was only a dream team because even though every one of it’s members was a future hall of famer, they all knew how to play as a team.

I agree however, there shouldnt be any bragging rights against the US Basketball teams as much as there should be Japanese bragging rights for baseball competetion (there are a few who make these comments. No names shall be mentioned).
