This is Me

Ahhhh. you remind me of xcelticx.
There are no set in stone principles of hypertrophy, young man. Its all about finding what works for you and applying it…and then demonstrating a visual difference after paying your dues, being under the iron for an extended period of time. If you look like you never lifted, people will automatically assume you have no clue what you’re talking about, since you never got it to work for you. While it may be true that you started far below this level, your current picture does not show a developed physique at all…poke around some of the well rated physiques and they fall short of arnie as well, to make that clear, but they do not look like they crawled out nude from under a rock, curled the bar a few times and took pics.
No one cares what you “know” since there is no fixed knowledge anyway besides “continuous strength gains usually result in muscle mass gain at some point” and some general dietary indications and algorithms to allow you to make modifications at different stages in developing your physique, and even these are commonly held beliefs, notions and most of all, individual OPINIONS: “any program will work for someone, but no program will work for everyone”. Train strong.

Christine:- “If you look like a beginner, you are a beginner”, i see where you are coming from, but a person does not have to be massive to be knowledgable in the science of hypertrophy (example, a nerd could study and understand complex principle, doesn’t mean he looks like Arnie).

Your Avatar picture reminds me of Jimmy Krankie, haha

If you wish to bang on about proper use of the English language, “ain’t” should never be used as it is considered non-standard English.

your nipples are too high up

Well, Professor, “ain’t” is used by many as a phrase or saying; just as I was doing. Writing “your” for “you are” is not the same as me using “ain’t.” By the way, “ain’t” is in the dictionay and I spelled it correctly.

Here are a few links for you to ??bang on:??

http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/ain’t.html

That very first link you provided, backs up my argument that ain’t is non standard English.

The second link does the same

And the third link states that using this word ‘can brand you as uneducated’

If you submitted an English Essay with the word “ain’t” in it, you would be penalised for use of non standard English. That is certainly the case in England anyway.

Again, Professor, I was using the word “ain’t” as a saying, e.g., just as some use “pee” for urine; get it? Or, “shit” for feces; got it? Using the word “your” for you are is not the same as me using “ain’t”; that’s my point!

Yes but the word pee is in the Oxford English dictionary it is a recognised slang term for urine.

If you want to teach people correct use of English, at least have the courtesy to do it yourself, ain’t should never be used in any context, unles you want to appear “uneducated” like your link describes.

Peace out

LoL Venus you crack me up.

And eales, I dont think this is exactly the place you should be starting a debate about proper English…oops look at that I started a sentence with and…well shit

To Base, your young so all Ill say is work hard get stronger, get biger and get meaner. Well you dont have to get meaner just get stronger and bigger(notice I put Strength first)

Well I certainly did not start the English lessons.

And you’re right lets get back to Base

OP I think you may have scored the lowest ever score in RMP, congratulations

Ain’t is an expressive term and way of adding some color to speech. People depart from standard, proper english all the time for reasons other than ignorance. As far as the OP, let it die. Let him do his thing and hopefully come back with lots of muscle.

I didn’t start the English lessons either, I was just going along with Christine. And, just because YOU don’t use “ain’t,” and it’s not in the Oxford English dictionary does not mean it cannot be used by others as it is used in urban areas as a slang term. Again for the 3rd time, using the word “ain’t” is not the same as using “your” as “you are.” That’s the only point I was trying to make, get it? Sheesh! You’re just as stubborn as I am, huh?

So, now I shall say peace out to you.

Himora: I’m glad you find me amusing…LOL! I am stubborn too

I find it funny how off track some of these threads actually get.

i aint never liked english class. i aint never liked literature class. but i never aint never liked PE.
