Hey, I have a question or I need advice or a point of view from a pro strongman. You probably know of these hard moments in a competition when you are physically and mentally exhausted, but you need to put another 30 seconds of high performance in order to win.
I am an almost retired soccer player and now I coach. To give an example of my question. It is minute 80, you ran like a horse for these 80 minutes and now you are in a situation that requires 30 seconds of high performance, perhaps a sprint or 2 but you are death tired in order to score a goal. The difference between winner and loser is in these 30 seconds. I guess in physical training this is called anaerobic endurance.
How do you prepare for these hard moments as a competitor. And how would you prepare someone you are training?
