True that. They are apples and oranges.
BUT, you passed some time didn’t you?
WOOT
PS, totally off topic SORRY SO SORRY try Angus grill, dude. I promise you will dig it. Unlimited top sirloin, bottom sirloin, tenderloin, bacon wrapped sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken breast, some times shrimp, a sald bar, flank steak… not normal buffet quality bullshit either. Top notch stuff.
You can not go wrong. Fogo de Chau is good too but they are pretty much the same and if I remember correctly Angus would be closer to you. If you like buffets, you will dig this place. You can even pretend it wasn’t HG who recommended it.
Ok, back on topic, SORRY SO SORRY
Yes, I have heard of Angus grill before. I just haven’t gone yet. I am down the street from pappas barbecue so I just end up there most days because it is the least greasy food around the area.
Their french fries are the shit also.
Plus, I eat too much to be worried about the most expensive places. I just like to find good food that won’t break me.
I do dig papas. I can’t remember the name but I think it’s Bakers Ribs on Voss at Del Monte (between Westheimer and San Felipe), ever had their ribs? Excellent. They won best in Houston in 09 and 10 consecutively. No too pricy either.
Angus is a little pricy, you are looking at $20 for lunch with water plus tip. Not a daily spot no doubt but it is a real treat every now and then to reward oneself for some heavy squats or something. (heavy is relative I know. Easy values to define, funny sarcasm not angry)
Also, for some odd reason, I love Lambos.
