Things That Make You Want to Go on a Killing Spree

  • talking to me while i’m trying to lift at lunch (i’m very antisocial; gonna start lifting @ home when my membership runs out because of this)

  • the old naked guy who blowdries his toes (that’s not a misprint) while standing at the sink

  • telemarketers

all for now…

Personally I think the word “fuck” is an amazing word it can be used in so many different ways, and you know what it does make my ego feel so good and tough…lol

 english is my second language so I do it more than I use it.

x2 goddamnit. I guess nobody cares about manners any more, but to me reracking your plates is a matter of respect for the gym, and respect for the other lifters.

Why?

X has said it a number of times and I agree with it- it becomes part of the workout. You go to the gym for an hour to move a bunch of iron, but get mad when you have to move someone else’s? It’s really not hurting you.

I just view that as the person being an inconsiderate cunt. Clearly, THEY’RE there to lift weights, then they can take their own weights off when they’re done, too.

The worst is when they know you’re waiting for something, then they just walk away when they’re done. Get your ass the fuck back, I don’t warm up with your working weight.

True, but… The only thing i can think of is that its like going swimming and having a random ass hole spray you with a hose, yeah you’re already wet, but in that form it’s annoying.

incomplete reps. it’s really weird cos there are a couple of bigish guys at my gym, who would be even bigger if thy used correct form and complete reps. im not talking bout advanced bodybuilder-style stuff, just crap form.

The people that drive up to construction sites that have been warned for the last 20 miles that the right lane is closing but they decide to pass all the cars in the left lane that are waiting patiently to get though the construction zone. That pisses me off.

Those people deserve to be beaten within an inch of their life.

Especially when they get mad that you won’t let them in, as if YOU’RE the bad guy.

Idiots.

As soon as you stop caring about what other people are doing, and not let it concern you, or upset you(especially when you have NO control over it), you will be a much happier person.

You will also lose the urge to kill anyone, which seems to be coming up alot lately.

Excuses

Gyms and PTs.
Thank god I train at home.
I have noticed that there are many gyms in my area.
I assume the low qualification requirements of fitness trainers means that there is an over supply of these buffed but essentially otherwise purposeless professionals.
I knew a guy in high school who couldn’t talk or write very well and collected sticks, he used to call the teacher ‘mum’ and during recess we would give him money to dance.

Then sell him sticks to get our money back.
He went on to become a fitness instructor so I view gyms as kind of like those factories that provide a community service by employing people with down’s syndrome to lick stamps and pack boxes.
Except with more Spandex obviously.

bumping this because it’s my thread and i like it when people write shit on it…

Louis CK this guy is a funny dude if you are bored check out some of his other clips as well, this one is thread appropriate.

People who don’t rack their plates. Because at my gym, the little old lady who has to clean up after you is seriously 95 pounds, and undoubtedly does not get paid enough to lift all the heavy stuff that irresponsible college boys leave on the floor.

The fact that in one year I have learnt more about training and nutrition than all bar one of the PT’s at the gym I train at for…checks calender… 23 more days.

One of the cleaners there, is more knowledgeable than all bar one of the PT’s, and as such is my new training partner for when I switch gyms.

People not putting plates away pisses me right off, I have better things to do than search the gym floor/end of the EZ bar for plates, as we have at a last count, 6 total 45lb plates, no squat rack, but a ton of ‘stability balls’ and cardio machines.

God I cant wait for the next 23 days to finish!

Traffic congestion on interstates. There aren’t any fucking lights/stop signs to justify this. There are other cars on the road? REALLY? That doesn’t mean you need to drive slow, which brings me to my next point.

I am not driving because I enjoy it. I’m driving to get where I’m going. So, if you are in the left lane and driving the same speed as the right lane, I will ram you. I will also refuse to slow down if you unnecessarily pull out in front of me. It will be your fault, I will beat you until my rage has subsided, then I will get a new car.

That is all.
