I’m taking a course for R - it’s absolute torture, but the professors and TAs literally sit with you to debug
I feel ya, for some reason lately my levels of happiness has been directly correlated to the amount of studying I do. I’m done for good with calculus, but arithmetics, algebra, and algorithms are my hobby nowadays.
Nerds.
I prefer to say that I’m using this enormous gift we were all given, that is plenty of time with few distractions, in a productive way that’ll make me better.
Ahhh to be young and without child
I have been wanting to learn some of this for awhile now - especially how to deploy it to on-demand instances on AWS…
But I have 3 kids and am an “essential” employee.
I’m thinking of getting some cloud (AWS,Google Cloud, Azure, etc) certs as well - probably do AWS first as I think there’s more demand (even though my organization is migrating towards Azure).
There are a lot of good resources out there but I understand the time crunch
When I wash my hands I play a game with my 2 1/2 year old grandson, before drying I chase him and sprinkle him with the excess water on my hands. He came to me last night and started sprinkling me with his wet hands. Of course I’m rolling around making a fuss and he’s laughing away. My daughter came in asking where he got the water? “From the toilet” he said. That’s when the real screams started.
I dabbled a little bit in AWS and Azure (real basic stuff, I can program MatLab and a small amount of python, but am by no means goood). I really liked the Azure’s training and that’s what I am leaning towards since the project I want to use it for is a conservation project and they give free credits for data storage/instances as part of their “Azure for Earth” campaign.
Yea, I have noticed a surge in Azure users being reported, but I think AWS is still pretty robust and prominent.
My employer subscribes to a training platform that offers cert training for all 3 of the big cloud providers along with some pretty in depth ptyhon/ML/AI training. I dedicate about 30 minutes to an hour each ‘work day’ to the training (kiddo permitting).
I started doing the Azure Data Science training path through microsoft but got side tracked with projects and viruses and shit…
His name is Mr. McFeeley. How did you get to a drug joke? The pedo joke was the easier one.
The only time you can hedge your bets by bidding just a dollar AND 1 dollar more than someone else.
Apparently I think about drugs more often than diddling kids to sicko
(for those who don’t know, this dude is one of the greatest arm wrestlers of all time)
edit: just to be clear, I am a fan of Laratt
Powerlifting
Or anyone following some kind of training goal blueprint that doesn’t fit their own body the best
But mostly powerlifting
Most amusing
