Things That Make You Chuckle

It’s South Park … since when was South Park too crude to post??

and that episode is hilarious

It’s a highly controversial show, I’m not particularly well versed as to what is/isn’t appropriate videographic content for this forum.

South Park can get quite crass, as is the point of the show; to provoke and offend the viewer whilst simultaneously invoking a laugh. Remember the bloody Mary episode?

I remember watching that and my father came in, sat down with me and stifled a laugh before looking at me and saying “that’s… Not funny son.”

The satirical sociopolitical commentary is second to none regarding how smart it is at times.

it’s only controversial for people with a stick lodged ever so snug up their ass.

Fair. Usually South Park is ok, unless it’s from the episode Super Best Friends and depicts a certain prophet of Arabic origins - I’d probably stay away from that one

Boy do I. My priest showed it during my confirmation.

I have to ask how old were you? I remember watching In Living Color with my dad. AND the first season of South Park way back when. AND Blazing Saddles when I was, like, 10.

My dad let me watch (encouraged is more accurate), well, pretty much anything. I now have a very, very irreverent sense of humor and not much (if anything) offends me … well, maybe people with sticks wedged snug up their butt’s offend me a little bit…they need to lighten the fuck up man … ain’t no one getting out of this alive after all…

My favorite when Randy eats a bunch of PF Changs and we discover Bono is really the biggest turd in the world

That’s an excellent episode.
Also the one where they redefine a word to represent annoying Harley riders.

 Maybe this is why I have a hard time in interviews.

Also the “cartoon wars” episode. They didn’t outwardly show Mohammed, though they were planning too. In the end they made enough references to piss off a LOT of people.

Probably around fourteen. South Park, family guy etc my folks weren’t keen on me watching until I was around fourteen (age restriction is 15+ here for most episodes after all). For whatever reason my folks believed these shows would warp my relatively developed sense of morality at the time.

It wasn’t about the offensive conduct, it was about how misbehaviour was glossed over and treated as normal. Took me a while to convince them I wasn’t going to start manipulating people and pulling heinous stunts because characters in a cartoon got away with it

That being said, South Park isn’t appropriate for kids. Probably best suited for those fifteen and older.

@flappinit @punnyguy The Bugez here showing us how it’s done. Needs volume but be mindful of where haha.

Funny, just saw this 60 sec gem the other day as it popped up on my feed:

Bugenhagen is awesome, have honestly never been disappointed after watching his videos.

But yes - always keep @punnyguy and I updated on the spread of our genius guru’s message.

That first 10 seconds was like an acting coach was out of the frame yelling “Velociraptor! Angry Baby! Horny Pelican!”.

A man who has been doing Crossfit for 6 months and a woman who became vegan 3 months ago walk into a bar. They are both there for 4 hours but neither has been able to talk about their diet/training. Why?

Someone who just got the COVID vaccine was there before them.

I’ve read it three times and still don’t get it.

People enjoy telling their vaccination stories more than Crossfit and/or niche diet stories.

Ah. Sailed right over my head.

I couldn’t remember exactly how it went but I know I wrote it out differently to what I heard it… It seems my delivery is as good in writing as it is directly from my mouth
