from what i know iof the biosig the face should be the 1st thing to go and it s not related to any hormones.

CT, would you recommend glycine for someone that does alot of late night work, say nurses doctors bar tenders and the like?

CT,
Coach Poliquin recommends glycine for reduction of cortisol. 5-20g? How is this used. With meals, before, after, empty stomach, before sleep, spread out during the day, etc? Will you be doing any seminars soon? Dave Brewer

Regarding the HCL supplementation. 80-90% of my daily meals are liquid (low carb-MD with some Udo’s blend and Flameout caps).

I’m usually on the go all day long so I need portable meals, and since I’m usually consulting onsite somewhere, I can’t really break out 200g of buffalo meat and some celery, warm it up, eat etc. without pissing off my clients…well, I guess I could but I’d lose business :frowning:

so anyways, I never have much of an appetite for “real food” anymore anyways…one, perhaps two solid meals a day is it for me.

I can’t imagine there’s much benefit of HCL supplementation for a liquid, blended meal correct??

Just wanted to get your opinion. The whole concept is interesting though as I’ve had pretty much lousy digestion ever since around 29-30 yrs old (34 now). Started using digestive enzymes (Flora brand) with solid meals and they make a world of difference.

Definitely going to try the Fenuplex and Insulinomics as I’ve had a piss-poor glucose metabolism for years :frowning:

oh and thx for taking the time to keep everyone up to date on ur progress…fascinating stuff as always

Christian,

This is a great thread. Thanks for sharing, and it’s good to see your detailed and measured results.

question: your results, are they just simply because of your diet and supplementation protocol or are you also adding in some form of energy systems work?

Already answered that.

Just re-read the whole thread twice. Didn’t see anything on ES work, is it in another thread?
EDIT: still couldn’t find it, but I’m going to assume it was without any ES or cardio because I know Poliquin isn’t very fond if cardio.

I have to follow the insulin protocol based on my bodyfat readings but I am following a 40% carb, 40%protein, 20% fat diet and have a similar fat distribution as you at about 7% bodyfat. Should I switch to a low carb approach like yourself or keep the same diet and add in the CP supps?

A little diet history I have tried Bodyopus in the past and my metabolism went into the toilet and I never achieved the leaness I have now. My goal is to get to 2.5% for comp in Oct.
I beleive same diet with attention to timing and gi with CP supp’s is that right?
Thanks Thib

the 5-20grams is PWO, thib is the 1st person i heard of using the glycine every meal but it sounds great.

the liver detox is basically what it says.
its a detoxification of the liver. it takes 42days to complete.
the liver is the master metaboliser of the body.
i wouldnt recommend it with out proper guidance. it is a rough ride

Be careful. It’s great if your body tolerates it. Not everyone’s does. Mine doesn’t. I was getting sick from it even just PWO>

find someone trained in biosignature.
where do you live?

and to the post before you, i was number 2ing blood for two days while on it.and outside of that i was in the jacks (toilets) about every 10 to 20minutes.
outside of that i found a reduction in body fat, energy levels and i begun sleeping better almost days after starting the plan.

you cant drink alcohol while on this.
i also found it hard to chug the shakes, esp glutamine, but when i was done i felt alot better.
just so you know aswell its a LONG 42days.

The Liver Detox is in fact rough. I had a miserable first week of it, then it got better and easier. I didnt see much other than feeling better and not being as achy. Didnt see much in regard to losing fat or building muscle.

i wouldnt say the bf changes were from the detox itself, only from having a cleaner system i was able to utilize my intake for effectively.

back to the insulin protocols though.

heh, sweet!
thx for posting that

Coach, is there a difference in DHA and EPA for insulin sensitivity? That is…is it more important to have one or the other? There is always so much more DHA and I was just wondering why?
