They tell me i'm doing it all wrong, but

…I have gotten results. The only ab work I do is cable crunches. I wasn’t satisfied with standard crunches so I decided to experiment a bit. I wanted to take hip flexors out of the equation. Do actual crunches rather than kneeling sit-ups. I think it has worked. As proof…I always wanted to be able to do a standing ab roll out. No matter what I tried I just couldn’t do one. After about a month of using this method I decided to try to do one again. I knocked out 5 reps. My wife even noticed a difference.
To get into position stretch out away from the cable machine using a shorter rope pull. Once in position let your stomach sag (you will need to use enough weight to hold up your body). When your stomach sags you will feel your abs engage. That is when you start your rep. Touch your elbows to the ground then let the rope handle go all the way back to it’s starting position. Easy Peasy. BTW, I’m 67
