I thought your squats looked awesome in that video. Your stance was wider than I was expecting, but anything wider than my pretty narrow stance looks wide to me.

It shouldn’t matter how much you’re squatting, or whether or not people think you’re a badass, or what. You weren’t fucking done yet. Why should you cut your shit short for anybody? Even if it’s Ronnie fucking Coleman coming up to ask you to move, find a way to share the equipment until you’re done. If there’s no way to share, then he can fucking wait. And it’s not like you were doing dumbbell lunges on the platform or curling in the squat rack. You were using the squat rack for fucking squatting. People that think their workouts are so much more important than anyone else’s (just a heads up, unless you’re training for the Olympics or the Olympia or something, they’re not) tend to strike me as colossal douchebags.

Hello friends, I am being indecisive.
Yesterday when I had like 2 hours of sleep I felt like going back to my old programming, this morning when I woke up after 10 hours of sleep I felt like squatting again.
SOoOOoO, here’s what ima do for now:
I am doing this John Broz for powerlifting inspired routine even though
A) A lot of people said it was too taxing
B) I probably wont be doing it 100% correctly
C) I am not an elite athlete
YADDA
YADDA
BLAH
ETC…
BUT here is what I do know:
I like going to the gym and getting a chance to give it my all
I like testing myself constantly
I have lots of recovery time currently, especially since I apply for like 3 jobs a day and get zero phone calls :/.
I don’t think many folk hire around christmas time.
SOOO I will try this shit until around mid Jan. and if I am still squatting and benching and deadlifting the same lame shit I will reconsider things.

Thursday: Front squats, DL, abs
Friday: SQuat, Military press, bi’s back.
Saturday: Squat, deadlift, abs

Great job on your meet, are those all high bar squats today? If so it looks like you’ll be matching your low bar numbers soon.
Don’t ever let anyone kick you outta the cage until you’re done squatting. Especially for shrugs or curls or some un-squat-like movement. YOU have priority.
I can’t imagine some guy asking me to get out, even with the paltry weights I use.
