SPOCK ---- For your meet stuffs, some times the kilo conversions from pound to kilos gives you weird lil numbers. I think you should try more then a 135 if you are doing doubles on em now.

Maybe you can sneak like a 63 kilo bench which a 138.6 pound bench. LIL MINI LEAPS. They should have a conversion chart for you at the judges’ table area thingie.

I bet you don’t even realize the spotter are there either, you’ll be full on focused on your attempts. Plus they get all into spotting for chicks too. They get the best view. Plus with a hand off your bench WILL be less taxing for max attempts–which the spotters do do. I predict you’ll have a great meet–people will be excited to see you lift :slight_smile:

Agree that her numbers should be a bit higher, but it’s her first meet. She should do what she wants to do. If she likes the meet and wants to do another, she now has a meet PB to beat.

As well, Spock, in the CPU, your attempts MUST be denominations of 2.5kg UNLESS it’s a national record attempt. If it IS a national record attempt, you can attempt to beat that by 0.5kg.

So, you can do 62.5kg or 65kg on bench, not 63KG.

Now, if the record for bench is 62.5kg, THEN you can do 63kg. But not 63.5kg (you could do 63.5kg IF the record was 63kg).

Just telling you all this now as to not get frustrated.

Or hell, maybe brute_fury knows the record is 62.5kg and this shit was discussed already earlier in the thread :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m confused why there would be more pressure on you when you’re being spotted than if you were doing it with no spotters.

If it helps, there are no spotters on the deadlift at least.
