Looks like you’re making a decent income there. The sirloin steak and that much whey must add up. Give me a estimate here on how much you think you spend on food per week (incl. the whey). Im getting a feeling it doesnt take you too long to get through a tub of 5lb whey haha

haha yah I order 25 lbs at a time and it usually lasts about a month and a half.

I’d guess ~90/week or so when you factor in the supplements. Really the only expensive thing is the beef since it’s like 5 bucks a pound[/quote]

How much are chicken breasts in the states? Beef here is maybe $7/lb :frowning:

Looking good by the way, have been enjoying this thread a lot.

Thanks man.

I have no idea, chicken is pretty worthless IMO

lol why do you say that?

I checked out the other thread, that is a crazy amount of food man. You sure 10lb. in a month is the smartest plan? (Not arguing, just wondering if gaining that quickly could potentially be bad). Either way, props on all the progress.

haha, I say that because it has so few calories and takes a pretty long time to eat. By the time I finish it I’m already hungry again.

Don’t worry man, I look the best I ever have right now, I haven’t screwed up yet have I?

Hahaha now i realise this. I sent you a PM… Got Milk?? But obviously didnt get it. My question was, recently u cut the milk out of your diet completely for ur mini cut or whatever it was. And now are adding it back in, was wondering whether it was Whole Milk still or have u gone back to the old days with 1-2%?? Do think whole milk is reasonable on clean diet??

I still don’t use it, with the exception of mixing either skim or 2% with my morning oatmeal.

I mean I think milk is a good tool for the skinny bastards, but it’s just one of those things you have to watch your bodyfat with if you are going to use it a lot.

Well for one, I don’t use ratios, and two I don’t buy into that whole idea that you can eat whatever you want as long as it fits into your macro nutrient count/ratio for the day.

I thought I might just chime in here about my experience with milk. For some reason it seems to cause me and many others to either hold more fat or bloat than one would expect on the same amount of given calories.

This could be due to milk allergies, hormones in the milk, lactose being a crap sugar, who knows?

But what I have noticed when I cut out milk but keep the calories the same my body comp definitely improves while staying the same weight. This may not be true for everyone but it holds true for me.

I really pains me to cut it out because I could drink endless amounts of the stuff and it is easy calories.

something like 60% of adults can’t break down the lactose in milk and it causes their bodies to have a quite a few issues. I try to avoid drinking milk or having any dairy products all together unless like way, i mix a little with my oatmeal in the morning, or my cottage cheese at night. I’ve been reading in some mags that you can just eat beef before you go to bed because it takes a while to digest like cottage cheese… but i just like it to much to give it up

I haven’t had cottage cheese much at all since moving back into college but recently got some. Only 4g of carbs per serving, 1 serving per day but maybe I should stop having it as I’ve heard similar info before

i remember reading somewhere that you use waxy maize. i dont know if you still do but in one of Thibs threads he said there’s only one “good” waxy maize. vitaro or vitargo??? something like that. all the others are apparently just over priced carbs. are you using the good brand or do the lesser brands work well enough for you?

I just use a cheap brand of regular waxy maize. No vitargo though.

I got up to 290 then dieted for like 7-8 weeks and I’m 270 right now. Kind of embarrassing looking back at those pics of me in here at 285 >< haha

I figure since this was bumped I might as well update some recent photos, here’s two from when I was 278, I had about 2 weeks left to diet when I took these.

And a most muscular from 278. There you go, everyone is all caught up now! Yay! haha
