most muscular. I tried doing these without looking in the mirror and apparently my left side has a life of it’s own…it likes to scrunch up on me. Pretty annoying. I really just thing there is something fucked up with the left side of my body but oh well hah
hah thanks guys. I really should work on a tan though…that just looks bad lol. Now that I’m finally done working the graveyard shifts I should be able to get out during the day.

Nice work, but what is with everyone putting a rear lat spread as their avatar (I am looking at you Way, Josh, Bug, SSC). Now I actually have to read your name in the BOI rather than just going by avatars.

I feel you BIG time on the tan man (look at the pics in my profile…lol). Shit would make such a HUGE difference in my overall appearance if I could get an even semi-decent tan going.
Looking huge way. I had a couple questions about the new diet.
Roughly how many calories , fat, and protein do you estimate you get in a day?
How are you feeling energy wise since you dropped the carbs?
Are you doing any cardio currently under the new diet?
I’m impressed that you only put on 1" in your waste in the last 20 lbs. I bulked up from 190 to 230 (at 6ft) since Nov 08 and put on a little more chub than I wanted. I’d like to keep going up to 240 (or 250) by New Years but can’t afford to gain more fat as my waist is already 38.5. I’m really surprised you can still pack on the lbs without the carbs.

Thanks man.
I’d say roughly 6k. Someone calc’d it out for me and my fat can get as high as 300g on some days. Protein is always at least 2x bodyweight.
Felt like shit for a day or two but then all was well, no energy problems here.
Nope, I will start doing some when I move into my apartment though on the 16th. The workout area is like 20 feet away from my door so I’ll be doing fasted AM cardio a few times a week
See the trick is just to keep the carbs high when you need them. I am eating way over maintenance but I only keep my carbs high for breakfast and the time around my workout. I believe doing this (as do many others) allows me to maximize muscle gain while minimizing BF. I’d probably be pretty damn lean right now but I prefer to push the calories as far as I can so I can get really big as soon as possible. I’m not in the business of waiting around

OK, yeah it sounds like the same type of diet that Dante recommends. It’s assuring to hear it worked from someone who’s tried it firsthand. I’m gonna give try the carb cutoff, 2g/lb protein, and morning cardio out in a couple weeks and see if I can get the next 10-20lbs a little leaner.
Hey way, this thread really blew up. Funny i asked you a question about 3day split done twice a week and it seems youve come back to it and its the exact same split as im doing: chest/tris/calves, back/bis, shoulders/quads/hams - i dont do extra calves on shoulder/legs day, but prob should. interesting idea about splitting up the calves into gastroc/soleous, ive just been doing at the same time - one straight leg ex/one bent-leg ex.
anyways nice work on the gains - my goal by xmas is to be 200lbs so hopefully will be there by then, cheers for the advice and inspiration

I wish I could change mine too dammit! Hint, hint!
what exercises do you do for your lats? Also, how much do you lift on said exercises?
Thanks.[/quote]
Usually my back day is lat pulldowns, face pulls, cable rows, BB rows and a machine pullover. Other than the face pulls I use the stack +20 lbs for right now on the machine stuff and BB rows I stick with higher reps (12-15) and use 315.

Since you mentioned specific weights, I was wondering, do you not focus on progress each workout? As in did you do the stack+20 and BB rows at 315 the last few times and plan on doing the stack+20 and BB rows at 315 next time?
