Yup, shes gotta go. Rick is a G, and needs to act like it. Ideally, all those people should be left for dead except for Daryl, Rick and the kid. Thats if I was rick.
Also, how was that house not completley fucked by the zombitches? It is in a wide open area…not boarded up whatsoever…too many windows, and not defensible. They pretty much only have Larry the cable guy with a deer rifle.
I am somewhat confused about the zombie speed. Some seem to only shamble, some seem to do a retarded jog/run which is obviously more terrifying. and why the hell do people always fall down…its not like a zombie is faster than you are, high tail that bitch outta there.
FWIW, I think the method of Horse as transportation is brilliant. Ok, so you can go further faster in a car, but then you are dependant on fuel, you can get stuck on highways due to car pileups with zombie hordes. You have potential trouble with engines, and can only be confined to highly trafficked routes, which are more zombie prevelant.
A horse on the other hand, only needs fed, provided it is trained correctly, wont scare TOO easy. and can get you out of sticky situations by going through and over any terrain.
What do you consider the best method for taking shelter at night? I think an RV is relatively decent as long as it runs good, you can reinforce it with plates, barbwire, cowpusher, etc… (ala land of the dead?).
They also need to speed up the fucking action. Blue balls two weeks in a row.[/quote]
They addressed the issue of zombie speed in the talking dead aftershow. Basically, the producer said the fresher/newer zombies can move a a faster clip than the older zombies who just sort of stumble along. Did Rick use a horse at one point during season one when he got trapped in the city?
