The Walking Dead Season 2

That is all I have to say. I did not understand a cop letting his son get that damned close to a deer with the intentions of having dinner when they have a rifle. Was he trying to stab it to death?

Further, staying out in the woods as if NO ONE ELSE would also be out in the woods shooting at anything that moves is retarded. That is basic hunting logic and why hunters wear bright orange gear.

These people are dead unless Hollywood gets a better script writer stat.[/quote]

Hahaha. Awesome.

The show was all right. The little girl running away and not listening to instructions, her blaming mother and the whole deer thing just got on my nerves… hopefully the next episode should get better. Tomorrow…

Ease Up guys. I do have issue with the black guy bleeding like a faucet then being ok. But other than that the sad truth is People do dumb shit. These people are not trained in anything other than being dumb and scared.

Remember these are the same people you see on the road everyday going to work You know the average dumb ass.

I only hope they go back to the books and speed up some of the story and don’t become to committed to the actors. No one should be signed to long term contracts. The Books make it clear Death respects no one.

And this is why I love Game of Thrones, books and TV series. Don’t get attached to any character. They get dropped one after the other…

Agreed
That is why I love TWD books and love Game of Thrones. The setting is mythical or “Zombie” but the stories of the people act like real people not Heroes or instant smart guys. They fuck up and they die.

Death don’t love us Ho’s.

I don’t like the “dumbass people” excuse. Even on Lost, it HELPED the story to have someone like John Loche on the island (don’t know if I spelled his name right)…and the cop in this was supposed to be on his game from early on. Anyone who is truly as dumb as “average” would likely be the first killed and wouldn’t make it this far.

I understand the need for “drama”, but unrealistic “drama” ain’t what we want.

Yeah, there may be that dumb kid that runs off…and yeah, you just may care enough to stay and look…but that isn’t all that went wrong here…and they did it themselves.

yeah, I take issue with them making it clear there was OPEN SPACE enough to see almost a half mile or more ahead…but they can’t see slow walking zombies until they have less than 30 seconds to respond.

That was a dumb writer’s mistake.

I Love those books not too big on the tv series, so far from what i pictured in my head

“valar morghulis” - yes im a nerd

a nerd who apparently cant use a pc.

i have to agree. the zombie herd appearing out of thin air was a kind of “what the fuck?” moment

But that is the truth. Look at the people you run across everyday. Most people do dumb shit. The mistake is who puts the oldest guy in the group on Lookout. Who says he knows what the hell to look for. HE does a 360 scan every half hour 20min who knows.
Or maybe he just looks ahead becasue that is where they have not been.

I had issues with the show but the dumb stuff they do is not any of the problems. The writers are sticking to the books with real people doing dumb shit. Cops are use to giving direction to other trained people other COPS as far as tactical ops go. And when dealing with real people its just do as I say or go to jail.

The fact that the wife is still alive bugs me. The fact that the deputy is still breathing bugs me.

The whole deer scene was not bad. The guys thought food the Sherif seen his kid looking amazed and happy and he has not seen that in a long while so yeah a moment of stupidity almost killed his kid.

The problem is the pace needs to speed up. Or this may be one of those books I only buy in grafic novel form or in this case Season DVD. Becasue week in and week out of dumb can wear on you.

You serious? He doesnt know to look for oncoming ZOMBIES in a zombie apocalypse?!?!? come on now lol

I’ll agree with this. The guys is on lookout but obviously wasnt very vigilant. I’ve seen it quite a few times before in the military (im sure X has too) when guys slack off on watch and miss something.

I never read the books so I dont know… but I like that they deputy is alive. It gives a good dynamic to the show IMO. I wouldnt mind if the wife died off though.

I also didnt really have much of a problem with the deer scene. If they were planning on killing the dear (which I dont think they were because they didnt want to use their guns and attract more zombies) then it was completely stupid to let the kid walk up to the deer like that but I dont think that was their intention (it looked like the deputy wanted too but the dad was letting his kid have a moment of awe)

There is no way that they would assume danger in that situation because they hadnt seen any other humans in who knows how long. They assumed they were all alone because, hell… they’re all alone 99% of the time.

With all that being said: I wish they would speed up the show. It’s only been one Epi so I’m reserving my judgement until later on in the season. I liked the episode but it definitely did have some issues if you’re the type of person who wants things to be “realistic” (as realistic as possible for a completely made up situation lol)

This is just awful…

Might pick up…hopefully

They need to leave the damn little girl.

Also, the wife needs to shut her whore mouth, the old dude is trying at least.

T-dog is going to die.

Just what I think.

Well

First reaction is its terrible…maybe all the nuances will hit me as I sleep

Bad. I know where this is going and it’s cool…but this was just a throw away episode. I hate them right now.

Haters gonna hate…jeez…

lol at the fat dude trying to run

Was anyone else just kind of waiting for the episode to end so they could get on with their lives?

Really hope next episode is as good as the previews looked.

wrong thread, whoops

sorry, but the kid should die from that gunshot wound

Not always, seen worse. Plus he is way to Im-por-tant to the series.

But is it wrong for me to want both the deputy an the sherif’s wife to die every second of every minute of the show?
