yeah, but don’t neglect the open bar ![]()
LOL Sonny. I stopped drinking after I read the Big T. I just don’t fully explain my reasoning to people b/c it earns me weird facial expressions. I allow myself to drink over spring break in Mexico and that’s generally about it ![]()
You’re freaking me out here PP!
I gave up drinking regularly last summer, and have gotten cocked only 2x since then.
Wild, wild, stuff
ProteinPowda,
I was trying to say that I think your results (LBM gain) would be different if you didn’t eat any animal based products (eggs and milk based proteins are produced by animals).
I’m really not trying to start any vegetarian wars here. I totally understand your position and empathize with your viewpoint.
At the risk of starting some heated debate… milk is produced by pregnant cows. Granted, there are technologies that extend their milk producing periods, however, realize that a calf was born to produce that milk. And, that calf ultimately contributed to the veal industry. And the cow that produced that milk will ultimately take a captive bolt gun to the skull, causing brain death (which is actually very humane, IMHO).
So I’m just confused on your vegetarian stance.
BrentM, I’m confused by my own stance too at times. There are soo many inconsistencies with being veggie. I just don’t like the idea that something HAS to do die on my behalf. A cow doesn’t have to die to give me milk, a chicken doesn’t have to die to give me eggs. A cow does have to die to yield me veal, or steak. That’s the best I can explain it.
The whole point of veginism is not about not eating animals, its about the cruel treatment of the animals when in the factory. Chickens are given tons of drugs to make them produce as many eggs as possible, so many that it is actually harmful to them. anyway, i love meat.
TravisCS84,
I’m pretty sure PETA is against local farms that treat the animals well, too.
Hey I love meat too, I just don’t eat it ![]()
This is going too far…I started this post off as a joke because you all make fun of vegetarains so so much. You’re all taking it too serious. I’m not PETA, I don’t care if you eat a ton of meat, that’s your choice. I do my thing, you do yours. I’m just saying that if you actually take the time to learn what you’re doing, no matter what your lifestyle is, you can get results.
Jason
great work PP!
