The Use of Drugs In Sports (Help)

Was this “man” your cousin, and his “father” your uncle?

I ask because in your other thread you mentioned an “uncle” that sounded suspiciously similar…

Are you testing us, Colucci? Admit it!

What is this verified link you keep talking about?

I just explained the connection in the comment you replied to. That may not be how you see things, but that’s your problem, not mine.

Because you asked for advice, got it, and then either ignored it or argued with the people giving it to you.

Yes. I made an unmemorable pun that I thought was pretty funny, but nobody else did. I thought about giving you advice since I’m actually quite bear mode myself, but by the time I had caught up on the thread it was pretty clear that you were nothing but talk.

I love getting proved wrong though.

This comment wins t-nation today.

I say we petition TC to have “Bigger Stronger Leaner” section of the forum changed to “Bear Mode”.

I don’t know how twojarslave can provide “evidence” that it was a failure, because we can only speculate as to your progress since then, but you can easily provide us evidence that it wasn’t a failure.

Post a video of yourself lifting a halfway decent weight.

Like, anything at all that indicates you have lifted weights.

Can you deadlift 315 yet? Can you squat 225 yet?

That would illustrate that the 200+ posts people dedicated to helping achieve your stated goals actually got used for something.

no one else thought this was funny?

EDIT: yeah should probably have read the rest of the thread before posting that…

c’mon kid just tell us! Did you ever achieve this level of awesomeness?

I don’t think you can generalize about all sports. Drug use is probably more widespread in some sports and organizations than others.

The only sport I know much about is track and field. A lot of people seem desperate to believe all elite track athletes use performance enhancing drugs, and I don’t believe this attitude is justified. Although there have been some high-profile scanadals, the fact that some of the sport’s most important figures have gone down proves that it isn’t like “taking candy from a baby” as Victor Conte put it—he built a mystique for himself as the world’s ultimate steroid guru and bragged about how easy it was to get away with, yet his operation cam unraveled because he made amateurishly stupid decisions and his athletes were the only ones who got caught.

What it all tells me is that athletes may get away drug use for a while, but it’s extremely hard to survive getting tested at random times all over the world over long periods of time without getting caught.

I also sincerely believe Usain Bolt is clean. It’s a fact of life that some individuals are genetically supreme and don’t need drugs to beat everyone else because their bodies are naturally equipped with advantages.

That is all, thanks for reading.

THIS GUY!!!

Ok seriously, what are you even asking us for? The ONLY thing anyone can provide that is ‘verifiable’ is the number of failed tests per year, which is a low number. Anything else will naturally be heresay or speculation. There is absolutely no evidence in existence that you will uncover that definitively proves that a large number of NFL players use PEDs, even though it’s almost certainly true. No website will have a database of, say, ‘players who use PEDs but have never been caught’. How could they?

Thats what I’m wondering with this “verified” thing he keeps throwing out there.

As sharply critical as he has been of everybody else’s reasoning, he doesn’t realize that he’s asking us to provide proof of something that does not exist.

I believe he was looking for websites with hearsay that was, in the opinion of THIS SITE’s anonymous posters, a cut above the normal sort of speculation you’ll find on other websites with less-informed anonymous posters.
