the un fucking believable!!!

Gotta love how people stickup for steroids. First of it isn’t easy to build muscle and that’s why the pro bodybuilders juice to the gills. Im sure alot the pro’s train hard and eat good but the bottom line is with the taking the steroids they wouldn’t look the way they do! If the pro’s were taken off steroids there is no way in hell those guys would be as big as they are!

Why argue over this old old debate? It’s clearly all of the above. If he wasn’t on drugs he’d be, say, 230 and lean, with drugs he’s 280 and ripped. He’s already a monster, but drugs make him a freak.

RSU,
You are right my initial point still stands what are you going to learn from watching that video…nothing unless you use 'roids…there is no good info on it for those who don’t use 'roids…nuff said!

I’ve seen the video and it’s very shocking and inspiring to me! The dude db bench presses 200’s for 12 easy reps, deadlifts 800 for 2 (he now does it for 8-10 I hear) so it’s worth it. Don’t buy it, download it off WinMX.com, just download their software and you can get any music, videos, movies, games etc for free… And it doesn’t have any spyware or shit with it, just a simple utility to share files, and I’ve never gotten a virus or anything from WinMX…No sense wasting 50 bucks, just my 2 cents…
Pete

eat good? hmmm, 'nuff said.

Invaders,
I was trying to let your comments go but enough is enough. It’s gotta be said. You’re an idiot. I will agree, there probably isn’t much to learn from watching the video. I’ll agree, bodybuilders wouldn’t be that big without the drugs. But if you think you can just stick a needle in your ass and look anything remotely resembling a pro bodybuilder then I’d pay for your cycle myself. True, the drugs are absolutely necessary to get that big. But the dedication, intensity, and focus is JUST AS IMPORTANT.
I’ve looked back at your previous posts and (what a suprise) I don’t see you contributing to ANY training threads. Interesting…
Get a clue. You can’t have one without the other if you want to build a freaky physique. And calling Jackass an idiot? pfft, just goes to really show how much you looking to what you’re talking about before your opinion falls out your piehole. Jackass has been one of the premier posters on this site. He knows his shit and he’s helped out others generously. It’s no wonder you never stray far from the Off-topic forum.

haktONE believe what you want I don’t give a flying fuck what you think of my comments and I suppose you are an “expert”. I have no respect for anyone who uses steroids! You don’t like my opinion tough shit!

haktONE,
You know what you are right…it does take dedication, intensity and focus… to stick a needle in your ass!

Invaders,

It may be “tough shit” if someone doesn’t like your opinion, however, it speaks volumes about you.

Invaders,

What is the point of saying you have no respect for people who use steroids? Steroids are simply a tool. It’s like saying you have no respect for anyone who uses a hammer to drive a nail, you could do it with your fist but it takes a long time and it hurts.

I have no respect for people who use drugs and compete natural but as for the rest, what harm are they doing to you?

btw I’m clean and always have been.

haktONE,
You are right it does take dedication, intensity and focus…to stick a needle in your ass! I have no respect for anyone who uses steroids to build their body!

haktOne just summed it up nicely. He could have stopped after “You’re an idiot” but the rest was good too.

Yeah, drugs are important in looking that freaky, but they don’t mean a damn without the dedication, intensity, and drive to make you that big. Any asshole can take steroids, but they may very well never look that huge. When all of those things are combined, that is when you start seeing improvements. Also, if you have no respect for anyone who uses steroids, then why the fuck are you here?? Remember, this site is based on TESTOSTERONE Magazine. RLTW

What’s the reasoning behind this statement?

Buffpants: exactly. Thanks for making my point.

The guy is 5’11". At 220 and repping 400-500 on deadlifts for fun would be an indicator of strength. At 220 and lean he would already look enormous. Drugs are everything in the sport of bodybuilding (and most other sports).

Keep in mind that at his peak, Arnold was 6’2" and 235. I don’t know when the last time you has Pumping Iron was, but Arnold on upper body was enormous. Put legs on Arnold and he’s probably 255 or so; that’s 3 inches of height more. This leg comparison is relative to the emphasis that legs have these days compared to old school physiques. Arnold did some drugs but he wasn’t shooting and popping everything under the Sun like these days.

Goth666-

I would throw in that it might be worth your while to check out Ironmind.com’s Training Hall tapes to see some of the strongest Oly lifters squat, clean etc.

Westside has videos as well that show guys moving serious weight.

Invaders,

You apparently have overlooked the revolutionary diet approach of Mr. Coleman, that all weight trainers must immediately adhere to if they’re attempting to achieve low body fat: Grilled Chicken and French Fries!

Anyone ever notice the Beverly container on the counter in Ronnie’s kitchen (Black label with red and yellow stripes)? It’s turned backward, probably b/c he’s a Weider athlete, that’s why he shows the camera his ABB protein container…

At 220 and lean he would already look enormous. Drugs are everything in the sport of bodybuilding (and most other sports).

He’d be 220 in the off season according to what you said, and maybe 207 in contest shape. There are people on this board that are natural and bigger than that.

Put legs on Arnold and he’s probably 255 or so; that’s 3 inches of height more.

You can’t just “put legs on” him. If he added size to his legs he probably wouldn’t have been able to have the huge upper body that he did.

Besides, Arnold was obviously also a genetically gifted person. He was bigger at 16 than probably most on this board.

Yes,
Im soooooooo sorry, steroids and gh were just the “icing on the cake” for Mr. Coleman. It must have been all that chicken and french fries that made him so big and lean. How dumb of me!
