High School Advice.
What would work best in that situation?
You guys are trying too hard to find the magic line. There is no magic line.
Perhaps some men feel that if they were to be sincere and got rejected, it’s THEM that I rejected. If they used some phony lines and I rejected them, they can blame the bad line. What they don’t know is that they never had a chance with a line, while if they had been sincere, maybe they had a 50/50 shot at it.
Just be yourself, be nice, and be sincere, and don’t talk/act like the only thing on your mind is getting me naked. Having some kind of common interests will definitely get me to talk to you more, for example, if you like classical music, or used to play video games that I used to play, or travel a lot (war story time!), etc. I don’t know why it’s so hard to understand.
To antny16: “See what?” Bud, if you don’t get it, I can’t explain it to you. Give yourself a few more years… 
To Slider: Thanks for that clarification about the tank. Right on target! But that guy you hit? That was MBE, who, fortunately, has no girlfriend.

Quick Recapp, a Summary of what I have learned:
U see a Hot Babe, she looks at you, you look at her, just walk up to her and say, “Hi my name is…” And start off like that. Basicly, I just gotta have Balls.
Portray that your a cool guy, who has confidence, and who is funny. And don’t BS with lines.

Here is what I have to say:
Just be yourself. Feel confident and strong about who you are and where you are going. Hell with what anyone else thinks about you.
I don’t see the point in either spending countless hours thinking of bogus pick-up lines or spending hard earned dollars on material goods (motorcylces, sports cars, etc.) simply in order to boost your ego and pick-up women.
If you don’t accept yourself, then don’t expect women to accept a “fake” person for a relationship, one night stand, etc.

Mate, pick up lines DO work. But not the one’s you’re thinking of (rehearsed/rude/artificial, etc). Most girls are impressed by a witty bloke, that means if you can introduce yourself and ‘break the ice’ and do it with some flavour, you might just win some points.
Then again, I’m currently single so feel free to dismiss my advice.
