Awesome! Does that mean we can go back to burning bras? I’d like more women running around bra less.

Nothing special but solid work. Re thinking training at Planet Fitness. As much as I like having 2 extra evenings a week free I’ve pretty much maxed out the DB’s there and since they are no BB’s I’m running out of options. I’ve got oly DB handles but my collars suck, I don’t trust them for overhead lifts. Wonder what they’d say if I lugged in a Oly bar? Literally don’t know if they have enough 45’s for me to deadlift and I don’t use that many, 8 at most. Still thinking on it.
Have a good weekend folks.
Maybe you can use the two extra sessions to do prowler/mobility work instead of hitting PF. I think I would just get really demotivated training at a place where nobody at all was serious.
I don’t know anything about routers either but I’m a quick learner and I can bring my own coffee maker. Lulu has legs that are 1,000,000 times better than mine though…

You’re completely right James. I’m looking at another gym I found around the corner from my office, it’s a bit more a month but maybe they’ll have real lifters there.
I couldn’t let you leave that beautiful view you’ve got out there on the west coast, but tell me more about this coffee maker.
Good work on the DB OHP lottsa work with the 65’s Nice.

Squats sucked, kept ending up on my toes which I think kept me from getting depth (opinions please). Weight felt pretty good, almost said light. Moved good but just out of the groove, tried all the mental cues and got a few decent reps.
Overall a good day in the gym. Finished up by mowing the yard, well the front anyway. Anyone wanna sell me a good riding mower? 3/4 of an acre is just at the bitter edge of what justifies a ridding mower in my opinion. There are guys are here that have them but I just won’t do it. I’m babbling. G’nite.
Great work!
Re: opinions.
Its hard to call depth with the black shorts and white stripe. The first one looked shallow but you got deeper with each rep. Also, you have the same tendency I do to get pitched forward and GM the weight on the way up. I know full well that costs you many pounds when you get near your max. I like to try and drive my knees out and visualize a piston when I start getting over the front and really try and squeeze my shoulder blades together on the set up, get the full breath in, and stay tight and really try and control the decent to keep me in line on the way down. When I feel a little loosy-goosey on the decent that’s when I start getting pitched forward. One way to work on this is with a bunch of doubles or triples with the same weight you’d do for say 6-7 reps if you were blowing it out on one money set.
My .02 cents.
Again, great job, keep up the hard work.
Also, I really miss my X500 deere riding mower. I used to have about 2 acres and I loved that thing.
Agree with Jack here, I have the same issue as well I end up GMing the fuck outta my squats, however driving your elbows over the bar is really a great cue that helps keep your back upright. You got some loooong legs to man…the speed looked good as did depth…great work…
Good work. I would have thought that the box squats would have worked to keep you more upright. I agree with what both Matty and Jack have to say. What helped me was to spend time in the hole. I do squat to reach stretches and still practice just sitting in the bottom of the squat with weight on my back. Then I practice driving up while keeping my chest up. That and filming myself were the best things I did.

The piston visualization really helps. Absolutely need to keep tighter, thats one of my biggest problems. Thank you.
PS. Those X series John Deers are awesome. My father inlaw has one.

Thanks Matty. Keeping my elbows under the bar has been hard since I jacked my shoulder. May try low bar squats again, didn’t have problems with elbows then.

Actually a pretty good day. Going to look at another gym tomorrow at lunch, it’s a community center around the corner. Little bit more a month but if they have better facilities then I’m down. Still will likely only be doing the same stuff two days a week.
I think its awesome you brought the prowler to work. I hope your facility has a shower though. Or your work nickname may become ‘Stinky’.

That damn thing is still sitting there.
No showers but my office is in an old garage that the cleaning crew has forgotten. My sent just blends in with the already funky area.
Didn’t get to push it yesterday, the president of engineering came in with his entourage and kept us tied up through lunch.
