Glad to be back thanks.
So technology fail!!! Guess what’s been down the last few hours? Gmail. Guess who keeps their workout on gmail??? >>THIS GUY<< Ended up having to wing it, which sucks. I know most of my new program but not all of it. Usually just pull it up on my phone and follow along, lesson learned.
Without further a due:
Making Planet Fitness my bitch!
Written by dday
Narrated by James Earl Jones (Think about that while you’re reading this)
Warm up/shoulder mobility
Smith incline 4x5 just to warm up
DB incline
55x5
65x5
75x5
65+average bandsx5
75+average bandx.5
Machine Low rows
4x10
DB rows
75x10
55+2 mini bands 2x8
Triceps extensions
4x10
Pull ups
5-4-3-1
Abs
So now that I look at it, this was nothing like my workout was written. The good news is I found out a little about using bands and DB’s, it’s kind of cool and certainly adds some much needed resistance to the lacking weight selection at PF.
There was a guy there today who shouldn’t have been there. My guess is he, like myself just signed up to lift certain things and does serious lifting elsewhere. Guy was pretty strong and I’m almost certain he was drinking Surge workout fuel. I shall make an attempt to talk to this guy next time.
SRC of the day: There are usually so many but these guys generally win going away. First they were dressed like a combination of Lee Haney circa 1991 and inmates. Complete with gardening gloves and a sleeveless sweat shirts over white T’s. They were rocking 135 on the smith machine bench and after each set they’d jump up and yell “BEAT THAT”! Hi-larity.

Kinda reminds me of a little mantra we had in pipeline training (pararescue). And Planet Fitness, your basement, your garage, don’t matter. It’s what you make of it. Course, now you’ll have to make something of it more quietly.

Yes sir! Actually get a pretty decent workout at PF, may be trying to compensate for not doing the barbell stuff.
Brought my prowler to work with me. Pushed it around the parking lot before lunch. I’m so out of shape!!!
1x100ish yards (to primary pushing area)
5x80ish yards
1x100ish yards. (back to office garage)
I figure a parking space to be around 5 yards wide, so 2 is 10?? Anyone see a problem with my math here? Anyway lets say 8 spaces down and back 5 times, then one big long push back to my office.
Leg pump!
For Busses maybe.
Ummm I would get a tape measure or at least walk it off.
I figure more like 10 feet. But maybe in Ole Miss they park’em wide. LOL

Damn you and your logic!! Nah, I went out and checked they’re about my foot longer than 3yrds. Even more out of shape than I thought. Oh well, still a good bit of exercise.
it’s now my dream to work in a place where someone brings a prowler to push around at lunch time.
nice work in here!!

What do you know about Cisco routers? We’re looking for two more engineers. Lord knows I could use the help.

Thanks. I love pushing the thing but just don’t have time at home. Pretty lucky to have a job where I can do such things.

at the moment, no, but in a year there’s no telling where I’ll be. I’ll keep you in mind.
