Get yourself a PL butler. Wrapping your own knees and guessing at your squat depth is not what you wanna do.
Yall know the golden rule of powerlifting, if 2 lifts are going up, 1 is stalling or back tracking.

this has been frustrating for me too. 6 months stuck on the bench fucks with your head.
@Ink - come here and tell that to my face

Don’t think I won’t!!
DF, killing it here man. Good luck in prepping for your meet, I can’t wait to hear the results. And a handler is something you’re going to want, being in gear, I’d imagine. I did my first meet without one, and was fine just paying attention. I did have my wife texting me in the warmup room how far out I was, which was pretty helpful. You’re going with a crew of guys right? I’m sure you’ll all be helping each other already, so that’ll ease the craziness of your first meet

I agree… PL Butler is a must have.
If you fly me out there I will do it for you for a very small fee (obvi) and I’ll even wear a tuxedo t-shirt so I look extra butlery
everyone - with me and buff n stuff competing in different groups (him raw me geared), we should have enough time between us to help each other out. My dad will be back with me as well.
Pete - vegetable. I dont eat vegetables, hate em.
Bench
Did work in the shirt today, 3 board and 2 board. Was satisfied with today, I seem to be figuring out this retarded death trap called a bench shirt again. Felt tons more in control and in the groove, due to the fact that me and my dad (Dr.DF) pulled the stupid thing as far up my arms as we could, centimeter by centimeter. Ended up making a big difference. Got up to 455x I’m calling .7. I was grinding up and grunted, Dr.DF thought I wanted him to take it, I didnt, but ah well, not worth complaining over. He had to leave after that, so I stopped there.
Upon watching the video, it looks like I almost lose control right before the board, from where I was under the bar, didnt feel any loss of control of all, so who knows.

LOL
And don’t sweat that your dad helped that 455 go up. If your left arm dipped a smidge at your meet, like it did on that lift, you’d most likely get redlighted anyway, so whatev. BUT, on meet day, you’ll LWI that shit like a boss anyway…
You’re starting to make me avoid the darkside, with all this bench shirt drama, haha
ink - haha yeah, fair enough, my drama is mostly caused by not having a clue how to use the stupid thing. The squatting feels natural, this shirt does. Whatever, done complaining…still currently waiting on PeteS to rip me a new one…
When I switch over, I’m going to get all kinds of lost in my gear, it’s going to look retarded. I’ll probably put the bench shirt on like some briefs or something to squat with, and try to wear briefs as a shirt.
ink - lololol LWI west coast will be more epic if me and MostMajor have to spend most of it teaching you how to put a shirt on
Deadlift
Maxed out the suit again, worked up to 655 for a 15lb pr. Stacked plates to try to do block pulls, results were meh, raised it about 3-4 inches. All in all, good day, lookin forward to a few days of vacation before the rubber meets the road.

Hi DF
I liked the camera shake at the end. Nice work.
Also it looked like you were dancing to the lame gym music before the lift. Cute!!!
Will there be vids from the competition?
LWI like a mother fucking BOSS man, sweet! DL looked perfectly smooth. You’ve really cleaned up the top end of your DL’s lately man, and it’s going to pay off a lot at your meet. LWI!
And Greg needs to run the camera while you and MMajor dress me, lol
