Greg, I like the wraps sometimes but I haven’t felt comfortable enough to wear them in a meet, not sure why. Maybe it’s the whole “I can’t feel my hands” thing or the way I wrapped them I don’t like how the bar sits on some of the wrapping. I’m sure with some practice you’d get them to work. Plus, in the 100% Raw federation, wraps can’t be longer than 18" and that means I need new ones, since the red ones from EFS are just under 24". That’s just my $0.02 on the matter.

Saw your post in that want to get to 500 DL thread. Do you pull deficits with a conventional stance even though youre pulling sumo from the floor?

Good shit man. Question…when you put your briefs on, do you run off to the locker room or you just change up in the cage or what? Any time I’d have to run back to the locker room for something, it messes with my head.

Ink - It depends, on fridays it is usually just me in there, or me and some other men so its no big deal to slip the briefs on right there since I am wearing bike shorts underneath them…if its busier and/or there are women, I walk to the locker room, but its only a 10 second walk so its not bad

Sunday Funday w/quad death

Thought I would go kill myself with cardio today. Flipped the tire first, then dragged the tire. Got a video of the last drag. Hurt my quad a bit on it, you see me pulling with good form, then just kinda stop, then awkwardly drag is the rest of the way. Right above my right knee is a little swollen, but iced it and its feelin better.

it looked heavy as shit. I’ve done tire drags with a much lighter tire (think regular car tire) but with a 40-70lb DB in there. Thats much more of a run/sprint kind of a drag but I bet that slow super heavy drag destroyed the quads? (not counting the injury obvi)

Does your gym have any smaller/lighter tires? You should try sprinting while dragging a light one… or what if you alternated between the heavy drag and the lighter sprint? Whooooooooooooooooow!!! That would be killer! I think I just got a “conditioning boner”

Hey, if you want to know the weight of the tire, check out any of the writing on the side of it (if it’s still there) and google that shit. That’s what I did when I found a tractor tire on the side of the road a few years ago and put it in my backyard.
