The Rule: 6 Meals/Day

Thanks for that.

Lots of hate in this thread, from people with average builds at best. Stu and Brick have good development, but they have ulterior motives, and are using the current hate-fest to try and attract customers.

PX - at whatever bodyfat and with whatever mobility issues and imbalances - is still one of the most muscularly developed nattys on the site. To think he wouldn’t look amazing if he hired a coach and got down to 200 or so is asinine.

If you don’t like the guy you are not required to interact with him. Arguing with anyone here past for more than a few posts seems to me indicative of the frailest of egos. Yes, that includes PX of course. Maybe we should all get together for some group therapy sessions. Chill the fuck out, keyboard warriors, take it easy.

You seriously think that? Brick and I both have real day jobs, and in case you haven’t noticed, this isn’t a serious bodybuilding site. Not sure how you think a hate-fest would work for generating business, but I think I just lost a bit of respect for you brother.

This thread was a mess from the get go because the OP always posts things as vague as possible because over the years, a better quality/more knowledgeable caliber of trainer has come to this site, and as he’s no longer the ‘big guy’ dishing knowledge, he fears being called out on specifics.

Whether his threads are useful or not, or if the usual folks jump all over him or not, I have nothing to gain either way. I do however find it funny that he will never simply write something as “it worked for me”, instead always alluding to it being the best way possible, or (my favorite), what ‘all the big guys’ do.

To me, that screams ego, and while he may or may not be correct at times, I can understand why so many people feel the way they do about him.

As to his honest to goodness belief that a handful of people somehow banded together in an effort to have him thrown off this site, it just shows how warped his view of reality must be. Like a child, he was forced to sit in the corner as a time out because when an entire site’s reputation always comes back to one poster who has amassed a huge negative following over the years, it’s never good for business.

Check some of the other better known online forums. There have been plenty of threads ripping into our beloved Dental friend, all pondering the often posed question, why the powers that be don’t seem to mind.

Maybe I’m the odd one here, but if I knew I had such a large contingent of people who disliked me, even if I believed I had some important online persona I had cultuvated over a decade to protect lest I be forced to go to another site and actually have to deal with people who have experience and credentials to bring to the table, and I suddenly found that I couldn’t log into the one forum that had never reprimanded my behavior in anyway,… well, I think I would be too embarassed to call up and cry about it.

(I wasn’t going to even chime in on this until I read Ben’s comment)

And for the record, I do think our resident DDS has built one hell of a solid amount of muscle over the years. I’ve said it before, and I still believe it, that if he chilled out a bit, he wouldn’t rile so many feathers. Yes, I know it shouldn’t matter, and he’ll reply with one of his “dont’ worry about me so much” types of replies. Still, it’s a shame, because people used to speak of him with a very different tone than they have the last several years.

Gee, the specifics, Stuey, were that posters like Ryan were spreading false info about insulin and how frequent feedings are affected by it. We discussed studies in this thread and TC even chimed in.

What “specifics” do you think were ignored?

The nonsense you wrote about this site is just that. I wasn’t even logging in regularly when you and friends tried to get me kicked off the site.

I find that pathetic. You are trolling this thread now by NOT writing anything in regards to the topic. I couldn’t care less whether you like me, Stuey.

I sure as hell have lost much respect for you.

What in this thread “riled feathers”?

I did nothing to try to get you thrown off the site big guy, I’ve got much better things to do. I know you don’t care to hear anything about it though.

You constantly make that claim that you weren’t going to “chime in,” and hide behind what “many people” think. Yet here you are as always, posting away in just about every thread he’s in, with the standard disclaimer that you’re not REALLY interested. Have the balls to speak plainly. If discussion with the dentist is meaningless, then I can only conclude you’re in here to bolster your own perceived authority on the site. PX is an odd duck for sure, and has turned this forum thing is to some kind of religion, but he’s not wrong about people ganging up on him lately.

The vast majority of posters and readers on this site are not higher caliber than they ever were. It’s the same thing, only now there are a few more “coaches” around trying to make a buck off of the clueless masses. I’m not too concerned with anyone in that business losing respect for me.

Please respond to that.

X - why not go on a cut? Not for a contest, just for shits and giggles … If you posted a log about it, I think you’d have a multitude of followers (friends and “enemies” alike) … Maybe just down to a rough 10%

For what it’s worth, I do think the obsession with staying very lean does inhibit progress in gaining muscle at a decent pace. Unless you are competing along the way, it might be better to stay closer to “full house” … As once you hit the mid 40’s, you are pretty much left with whatever muscle you have - pretty hard to add much at that point (not impossible, but diet, training and rest have to be much more dialed in than when you are younger) …

I’m 45 now, and if I had it to do over I would have been ALL about mass from 20-40 (without becoming a pig) , then tried to get lean(er) as I got older … But hindsight is always 20/20

Yeah, that’s all it is. It couldn’t possibly be any of this:

Reminds people constantly he’s a “doctor”.

Brags constantly about his education.

Asks people if they need him to repeat what he just wrote.

Asks people if he needs to write it out in crayon.

Asks people who argue with him in multiple threads if they’re gay.

Asks people if English is their first language.

Constantly tries to convince everyone to accept the inflated image he has of himself.

Is constantly sarcastic and condescending.

I don’t feel like digging through posts because that takes effort that this doesn’t deserve, but any casual observer(which is 100% what I am in this thread) knows this is just flat out false, you dismiss people on the basis of their ‘progress’ all the time.

I know I’ve seen you say things like(these will be paraphrases) “come back when you actually have some muscle then we can discuss this” or “I’m not sure what someone your size could possibly add to this discussion.”

Maybe you think your statements aren’t ‘blatant’ degradation or dismissal because you aren’t as blunt as some people are towards you?

I suppose you could maybe even say you have never been the first to do it in a discussion? I can’t immediately refute that, it’s certainly possible.

Look at the development of whiteflash. I am not degrading his development to say he very average in his development. I would not consider someone like that a serious weight lifter. It isn’t a degradation or an insult. Just the truth. Saying that someone who has gained over 70lbs since he has started posting here has made no significant progress is simply ludicrous and a flat out degradation for the sole purpose of insulting someone. Big difference.

Hey, I did do that…and it worked.

I will drop weight for Spring for sure, but with a goal of getting leaner than I was before…no care at all about ‘contest shape’.

I know tons of guys who wish they had gone for more size when younger after seeing how slow gains come after that age.

OK…I personally don’t care at all if you think something negative about me having a profession with a strong medical background

I am a dentist…a good one. I will say that I am one with pride especially if the discussion lends itself to part of the education I acquired as far as biology or physiology. I will not care if you don’t like it.

If that offends you…deal with it, homie.

Once again, good post.

Stu responded several times in this thread each time to say how much he doesn’t care.

The first time was to say he wouldn’t respond again.

He seems to be upset that an actual discussion took place.

I appreciate TC responding.

If you went around your gym shoving your opinions down everyones throat and preaching them as facts, insulting others around you, screaming out that you’re a doctor*, and walked around like you were the greatest thing since sliced bread like you do on here, then those serious lifters would “bitch” like some of us are on here.

*dentist.

This thread is new and exciting.

You forgot to address the part about you being an asshole. Asking people if they need you to write it out in crayon or repeat what you said has nothing to do with your education. You are always sarcastic, condescending, and dismissive. Nobody dislikes you for for having a medical/dental background.
