A girl i knew in highschool once whent on the “no!” diet, this diet entailed its users to write “No!” on there hand so when they reached for food they would see “No!” on their hand and stop
My old roommate. Breakfast diet. Watched what he ate during breakfast and did what he wanted the rest of the day. Made perfect sense to him. Didn’t work to well though, still had cankles
Another one that isn’t so much a diet as just general eating habits…a co-worker of mine gets up at 5am, doesn’t have anything to eat until 9:30am when he has a plain donut and a cup of black coffee, then has a small thing of yogurt for lunch at ~1.
I have no idea what he eats for dinner, but it pains me and my 4000+ calorie diet to see this day after day. And the guy’s about 6’3" on top of it. Insane. You would think after more than 40 years on this planet he would have figured things out a bit better than this, but I guess not.
All the girls I work with go on the vegetable wrap for lunch, dessert&booze for dinner diet. Apparently it doesn’t work so well, I wouldn’t recommend it.
People that go on “vegetarian” diets thinking that it will bring about amazing fat loss. At least vegans get soy proteins and shit(still think they’re insane, fuck giving up meat).
Weight Watchers has to be the worst. Honestly. There is nothing more entertaining then watching four construction workers replace a perfectly good single 3’ door to the entrance to a weight watchers location with a new 6’ door simply to allow for easier access to the clientele. People do not experience long term weight loss there.
The detox diet is pretty stupid too. I think it involves drinking nothing but a mixture of distilled water and pure honey for 72 hours or some shit.
If people would bother to expend half as much energy in trying just to be healthier the right way instead of jumping from fad diet to fad diet the world would be a better place.

I used to work with a couple vegans and they were real healthy. Eric used to talk shit about vegetarians “Veggies” and how they often complained about not losing weight because they felt the lack of meat in their diet would justify their huge startch and carb intakes, on top of some desserts (a lot dairy). Made a lot of sense

the only thing funny about that is that you think you know better while this is actually a quite good way to loose weight for many people. the multiple meals a day bodybuilding diet isn’t the only way to loose weight.

Seriously? He’s not talking about the type of people who starve themselves all day then eat healthy food for dinner. These are the type of people who starve themselves all day then eat two large pizzas for dinner followed by a gallon of ice cream then wonder why they don’t [i]lose[/i] weight.
My calc teacher had a roommate who went on a Banana diet. This was back in the early 80s. The guy ate nothing but bananas and water. He’d eat like 30 bananas a day. My teacher said he got pretty fat.

Are you serious? Just because some people lose weight on it doesn’t make it “quite good.” That’s a fast track to a destroyed metabolism and 18 hours a day in a catabolic environment.
