The Rule: 6 Meals/Day

The problem with you talking about dieting is you have never done a diet and gotten to a bf level that is even semi respectable so why would anyone want to listen to your advice or thoughts on it?
IMO, if someone who has lost some weight, as PX clearly has in the past, can discuss dieting and dropping body fat then I see no reason why any one who has put on some muscle can’t discuss building to more extreme levels as well. Of course providing actual information and specifics goes a long way with me, whether I agree with them or not, but I can’t speak for everyone.

It’s the same thing, right?

Aren’t many of the people here already doing that?

Aren’t there TONS of guys who never got that big telling everyone what they can’t do even if they never did it themselves?

You never see me discussing CONTEST DIETING…or hell, much about all out dieting at all. If you want to know how to get pool ready, you do the same shit I did to get pool ready…to whatever extreme you desire.

So please tell me…when do you see me discussing some aspect of dieting I have no knowledge of at all?

I have been at 10% body fat before. I have dieted many times and now stay much leaner even when gaining. I am confused as to what exactly you think I am discussing that I have no knowledge of.

Most of the people here don’t give a shit about “contest shape”.

Please explain why you are against me even mentioning the slightest aspect of dieting but have no problem with guys like Majin who weigh 100lbs less than me challenging me on how to get really big muscles.

Up to date pics of PX please.

Question:

If you wanted to gain 15 pounds of muscle, and you had two options, which would you choose.
Wait…before we even get to that…you can want to gain all you want to. Your body doesn’t care what you look like…so you missed the mark by even thinking “15lbs of muscle”.

This is about genetics and metabolism. This is about making sure you AREN’T gaining more fat than muscle. This is about the simple knowledge that if you are going to give your body a SURPLUS of calories in order to grow, some of that is going to be fat.

Therefore, why shoot for “15lbs” unless your progress and genetics were leading you to believe that this was the best option?

Where are these numbers coming from and why would ANYONE gain 40lbs in a year unless on steroids, very young in training, or they had fantastic genetics and most was muscle?

40lbs? And why would you keep gaining to 40lbs if you only gained 15lbs of muscle? Wouldn’t this show in your training that you were not getting stronger to keep gaining? Why isn’t this person noticing their progress and making changes so that they DON’T gain that much body fat?

When did “traditional bulking” mean ignore how much fat you are gaining and just keep gaining anyway?
or

B) 15 pounds over 2 years with a 5 pound gain of fat doing it the “lean bulk way”??
Why not 20lbs in one year with 10-15lbs of muscle?..then gain another 10lbs of muscle the next year meaning you gained more muscle in that two years than the guy who took 2 years to gain 15?

Do you understand that this is the goal…to gain more muscle in a shorter time frame?

Someone focused ONLY on body fat could cheat themselves out of several pounds of muscle over several years…which is ditrimental to progress if your goal is to be really big in the long run.

Once again, if you are gaining more fat than muscle, you did it wrong. That is NOT “traditional bulking” and never has been.

I would recommend a beginner actually read what I am writing…

I already posted a recent pic in this thread pages back and every avatar with me in it over the past few years has been within 2 months. Do you need daily confirmation?

Could you post a current picture of yourself please?

Probably not up to your standards, but I’m doing well. Also, I post videos on a weekly basis. So.

Sorry for the sideways photo.

First, keep lifting, but what gets me is people who ask for my picture as if I haven’t posted more pictures of my progress than just about anyone here.

For the last three years, every time you saw an avatar picture it was taken within about two months. I was posting some almost every week…which means all anyone had to do was look at my avatars to see my progress.

Then…the singular moment I put up a picture of my dog, suddenly no one remembers what I look like.

I find that odd.

Over the last three years, anyone who looked at my posts saw my progress. They saw me keep lifting with a broken hand using hooks to do shrugs…, they saw me drop weight from not being able to lift heavy …they saw me stay leaner while gaining and they saw me at 270lbs in this thread…but you missed all of that.

Maybe some of you need to pay more attention to what I actually write…instead of what people say I wrote.

Just saying.

Keep lifting and good progress.

The issue with this is that based on those pictures you post, the only progress you’ve made from 2008 to now is that you changed the tank top that you use to cover up the majority of your physique and show off your arms and traps.

uh, what?

^^definitely a different tank top.

To be fair, he did say 2008

[photo]34868[/photo]

You know…I could see if the insults were actually true…but if you see no progress being made in these pictures…you probably don’t have any pictures up of yourself.

LOL at zero progress being made over the years…

Note to self:

Instead of trying to get bigger, just stand closer to the mirror. Voila; progress.

Lets see this one next to a shirtless pic from this week.

That’s 3 years of progress and should be pretty drastic change right?

I think I remember that pic from a while ago. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think you said you dieted down with out cardio… maybe it was that topic of ‘damage control’ or something. Either way look good in that pic. Not sure what all this ‘fat ass’ hoopla is about.

A group of members got together and tried to have me kicked off the forum by turning every thread I responded to into the same kinds of insults you see here.

That is all it is.

As you can see, I am simply massively obese at all times and only eat cheeseburgers…despite being lactose intolerant.

This thread has become pretty sad. X is obviously still that skinny nerd inside, even after all these years. Desperately seeking acceptance.

Gosh, I hope you still look like this. This is a good pic.

No photo that isn’t 2+ years old? Bummer.

Look, X, of you gave out any sort of actual info about topics you have experience/success with you would be a helpful addition to this site. I’ve mentioned this to you many times before but you ignore it.

You have value to add if you wanted to and wanted to argue/debate less.

LOL at writing this while posting in 40 page thread of info that has been read 40,000+ times.

Maybe you should read way more than you criticize.
