I can’t stand keeping a log while working out. Walking around with a little book…don’t like it, don’t do it. So, a compromise. Going to try and keep one here.
Currently 9 weeks out, show is June 12, will be less than a month from turning 53.
The mind games have already started, loosing it too fast…not loosing it fast enough. Need more carbs, and cardio…or should I do less?
I hate cardio, but last time my legs didn’t come in to the very last second, and could of been better. Going to try to get them better this time. My legs are my weak point. But got to go with what I got.

protein shake and a rockstar, right before the gym, got me weighing heavy.
Did hill sprints yesterday. 155 yards up the hill in front of the house. I walk down and sprint (as much as my old ass can sprint)up. 7 times yesterday. Takes about 15 minutes.
Then I had softball tryouts.
Legs today. Operating on about 60 grams of carbs, wanted to put it off a day at work, wanted to quit between every set during the workout…but ground it out.
Cybex leg press…dont squat. My lower back is junk. Have had surgery once. After years of trying to squat, I finally figured out my lower back was limiting what I could do. It will give out before my legs do.
