A new man is in the job in the movies. He was a perfectly fine Captain America but they didn’t really explain what happened to the previous one. I suspect it was a ploy by the filmmakers to extract more money from me on other Marvel films.
I suppose it is working somewhat, as I’ve easily spent $100 on Marvel films at this point, and I am still confused. It seems similar to Scientology in that way.
You missed at the end of the Thanos saga movies. Original captain America uses Pym particles to go back in time to the end of WWII and be with his lady. At the end of the film he meets Anthony Mackie’s character on the day he traveled back in time as an old man and gives Mackie the shield.
So Steve Rogers is now an old, clint eastwood looking, man who is no longer in fighting shape.
I did see a movie with Thanos, but I may have fallen asleep before finishing it. I remember being very confused by it as well, and was disappointed that Gandalf never showed up. It seems like they could’ve purchased the rights to him and made the movie even more inclusive for people like me.
Technically he already was a superhero - Falcon. It’s comic books - weird stuff happens all the time and they aren’t exactly complicated tales (at least the mainstream stuff).
I have no problem with Falcon as Captain America, but the new movie that nerfed red hulk is cringy. MCU killed the best character in Marvel (bring back Lou Ferrigno, lol)
I was not expecting it to show up but was surprised it was there, and even uncensored. I own both seasons of Chappelle on DVD, which was some pretty cutting edge technology at the time. A big upgrade from VHS.
I also own 36 Chambers and Liquid Swords on compact discs, back when rap didn’t suck ass like it does now.
In 2025 I think Kamala Harris would go undrafted. Whites will agree to keep Biden in exchange for blacks claiming Obama.
For the Natives, I’m offering Elizabeth Warren, that other pretendian Berkley Professor AND throwing in Kevin Costner in exchange for Redbone.
Asians might try to scoop up Elon Musk, so we’ll need to play this one smart.
I binged Season 1 of The Night Agent on Netflix. It was decent, not great. I mostly watched it because Bas Rutten said the lead actor Gabriel Basso is a real life bad ass.
A quick look at Season 2 reviews seems to indicate that there’s too much similar stuff to Season 1 going on. Means I’ll wait a while first.
I was watching Season 2 of Shrinking on a flight Wednesday. I’m a pretty emotional guy in general. I was going from laughing like an idiot, to tearing up, back to laughing like an idiot. I know the woman in my row thought I was psycho.
