More love for Jo Jo Rabbit over here. Me and Mrs Burien Top Team just got back from a pre-dinner movie night. Really good film. Great performances from the kid and his imaginary friend. Definitely a few surprises along the way, which is always nice.
Seen a bunch of good ones lately: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Joker, Jo Jo Rabbit …
Ghost Rider 2 was a pretty good bad movie.

This is the entire fucking film. They do this with the premise, the plot, the character dynamics, the fucking visual and audio cues… everything.
At least bad “B” grade horror flicks try to pretend they’re doing something original and end up being somewhat entertaining because they normally end up either making something hilariously incompetent, or something ridiculously over-the-top to compensate for their lack of originality and budget while they’re at it.

Nah there was a scene where a guy implodes due to a pressure suit malfunction that was pretty funny.

Out of curiosity (not meaning this in a negative way), it doesn’t seem like you enjoy most of the movies you see yet go see almost all new movies that come out. Do you actually enjoy movies? Or do just like ripping on them?
I’m a very casual movie-goer (maybe once a year) and will mostly Netflix at home. I find your reviews amusing but you go hard in the paint for some that I would mildly shrug at.
I normally have a good time even if the movie sucks. E.g Gemini Man. The Grudge and Underwater were devoid of entertainment value because they were so bloody boring.
