No Fireworks here, not even from hajj. haha.

training yesterday.
boring Bi/Tri stuff.
bleh. I don’t like training my bis and tris really.
I don’t even remember what I did. usually bicep type stuff. tri stuff followed by weighted dips and chin ups.

training today
BACK/SHOULDERS. my fave day :slight_smile:
bent over rows - 4 sets
v grip BB row- 4 sets
one arm BB row- 4 sets
one arm BB push press- 3 sets
DB OHP- 35x10,9 40x8,6
DB front raise- 15x10,10,10
cable low row- 3 sets
straigh arm cable bar pull down- 3 sets
cable high pull- 4 sets
cable lateral raise- 3 sets
cable elbow rotation(no clue what to call these) rotator cuff shit- 3 sets
DB shrugs- 80x12 90x10 95x7
…I think that’s it.

oh wait! I also did my lil Ab workout
plus incline sit ups… one set of 45 i think
andddd I walked instead of driving back from the gym.
it’s less than a mile. but in 120 degreee weather, it counts for more.

Geez 45 incline sit ups. I gotta get to that level. I’ll admit that I don’t work my abs like I should, I hate training bis and abs. The abs I have now are a result of random HIIT and weightlifting… but it’s working so why ruin a good thing?

Alright you talked me into it. I’ll add ab routines.

walking in 120 degrees weather def counts for something. glad you had a good one Queenie, you needed it. And think how good your woman will look draped over your arms when you get back home (just an incentive to hit those bi’s and tri’s :wink:

Nikki- I hate training abs, but I LOVE having a 6-pack. Really, it’s sexy. Soooo i do abz err’day.
And for some reason my bi’s get really large really fast, so I don’t feel the need to train them too hard. haha Pish Posh, that’s a good one. But yeah for abs…keep it short, makes it less painful.

MiM- Well CLEARLY mrs killer LATS and DELTS. :slight_smile:

N- grrrrr! teasing me with that image in my head! uhg. she’s so pretttyyy. But really…she makes me look good.

Yeah my bis build up quick and atrophies VERY slowly. So I do about 3 sets with 15-20 lbs just to maintain it. They’re weak as all hell since I don’t do heavier DBs but they look nice :smiley:

I used to train my abs a lot and I’m lucky that the strength and muscle didn’t leave. It’s just the inch of fat over it. Damn diet.

My bis never Grow! But my pecs and back do. I read somewhere that either you tend to put muscle on your arms or your torso - I’m clearly a torso person. Being honest though, I don’t often do direct arm training.

Nikki- I’m with you. I don’t necessarily even know how “strong” my biceps are because I don’t do heavy curling exercises. People often ask me how much I curl, and I say I don’t know. Frankly because I don’t fucking care, it doesn’t matter to me. I do different exercises with less weight that give me an awesome pump.
I crack up when I see people with 45lb plts on the end of an EZ bar, giving themselves a hernia trying to curl it. WOW BROOOOO WAY COOOOL. No.

Cal- i guesso. My pecs are doing pretty good, I can flex them! I wish they were more defined though…without losing my breasts completely.

AUNT FLO CAME TODAY. THAT BITCH, no training today seeing as the immense pain I am in. grrrrr.
I really need to work my legs.

Hmm…didn’t know this about muscle growth. I feel like my arms are huge, as well as my torso (my waist is gone) - but we all know I’m a bit paranoid…

That said, i would love my chesticles to get bigger! bigger chest muscles + little boobies = happy torpedo tits! Yee-haw!

They’re dumb because no one wants to do compound lifts anymore. On the days I train biceps, I practice my chin ups, do lat pulldowns with an underhand grip, smart shit like that. So when you see me pick up 20 lbs to do my biceps, hold your scoff. I’m not a dumbass to think that I’m actually helping myself training my biceps directly for 45 minutes.

That’s an interesting theory, I never heard of that arms vs. torso thing but I guess it’s true because my biceps grow like weeds but my back barely has any definition. I have to be in a very particular pose to make it even look like I do handstand push ups and DB swings and snatches, on top of isolation exercises. Oh well, half the fun is getting there I guess.

Lmao torpedo tits. I was a DD now and worked hard to get to a C but I think that’s as small as I’ma get. Oh well, I’m still opting for bigger chest muscles. If big chest+small boobs is a torpedo, big chest+medium boobs is what, atomic bomb?

Masch- haha torpedo titties that’s funny!..I used to have very large, very nice chesticles. now they are tiny. GRRR. and I think I BB row 125-130 for reps usually.

let see training today was chest.
Yesterday was legs/calves
I took wednesday off.
tuesday was back and I deadlifted for the first time in FOR EVER. got up to 309x3. I put 319 on the bar but by then my lower back hurt so bad I couldn’t bend over to grip the bar. so I stopped.
…my back is still sore today. That’s what I get for neglecting my favorite lift!
monday was bis/tris/calves
and sunday was legs.

Been packing up my stuff here, doing things for going home.
I SHOULD be out of this god awful country the first week of August.
Jamie is moving out to WA the end of this month!
I will be picking up my brand new Jeep as soon as I return.
I have Dave Matthews band planned the first weekend in september.
Disturbed/Stone Sour/ Avenged Sevenfold for my birthday-September 25th.
And I booked a trip to Vegas for Jamie and I on halloween :slight_smile:
Lots to look forward to. Now to get home!
OH and my iPhone4 is in the mail on it’s way to me right now.

Oh, and the 25th of this month I am competing in a strong woman competition.
