I know I would drop weight like crazy if I could give up the fruit…but it’s the main thing in my diet that I actually enjoy! So I try to keep it to just training days or the first half of the day.

My hubby is Navy…when we transferred here he was put on the IA list and moved his way up unfortunately. So this will be new to him. He works on planes for his real job. :slight_smile:

MiM- grrrr. I love fruit. Mmmm Navy, I know nothing about that, or what “IA list” means. Working on planes sounds much more fun than prison guarding.
Actually, here pretty soon, Timi and I will be doing walking patrols through the TIF(theatre internment facility)… it’s the jail where they keep them terrorists.

Mel - I think berries are fine in a fat loss stage… and they are not nearly as expensive as normal this time of year! Other fruit is cool in moderation… but it’s true, most women find they drop fat a little faster without it in their diet… =-/

MiM- Here, it is boring as shit. It’s scary walking out the door into a wall of 120 degree heat, and sometimes the smell is pretty scary. But I don’t know about afghaniland, I haven’t been there yet. Maybe next year lol.
Nothing to be scared of, especially because his job will not require him actually going into harms way. AKA outside the wire. You have nothing to worry about. Except for shitty skype quality, dropped phone calls, and lack of sex. Oh, and masterbating gets boring. It sucks. trust me.

MM- I would love to get my hands on some berries. The fruit selection is lately: apples, kiwis, pineapple, honeydew, canteloupe, grapes, and PLUMS today! Never any berries :frowning:

I think I will just have to cut out fruit all together, seeing as I want maximal results. I think cutting out my VANILLA CHAI LATTEES is going to be the hardest. mmmm so fucking good. so sweet, so many calories.
Oh, and the lemon cake that I eat everyday. mmmmm delicious lemon cake. oh well.

The fact that we have assault on soldiers, and kidnapping attempts a lot here ON BASE, or the fact that we get mortared and incoming fire at least 5 times each day. The Phalanx is right near my compound, so I hear it when it goes off. The phalanx is our giant high speed weapons system that is supposed to target, shoot down, and deflect incoming fire. Whether it works or not, who knows. Anyways. Theres the truth.

How long has your shoulder been giving you issue? Do you do anything specifically for rotator cuff health? I’m wondering because my shoulder has recently been a pain…in the ass(shoulder?)…anyway, chin ups always seem to help!! Which makes sense, I guess…
