Considering your statements about preventing family members from smoking/drinking, due to how it’d make your siblings feel, I think it’s peculiar that you attempted to overdose.
I would talk counselor about this. Your school might have one, if you can’t afford one.
Im getting one now . Yes i am a major hypocrite now but lucky for everyone the only reason i told my mum what i did is because a friend convinced me i needed to and go to hospital, without that friend id be stuffed. I wouldve kept popping tablets if i didnt have them honestly . I find talking to a friend helps alot more than a counsellor because i actually know my friend and for me to trust someone it takes along time.

Here’s what you need to take from this experience @duketheslaya, you’re not alone. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression about a year ago, and I’m fifty three. I can’t imagine how much better my life would have been if I had been able to deal with these issues when I was your age.

I start a new cycle on Tuesday. I’m going to stay with this mash up but may mix things up a bit. I feel like I’m making good progress, but it’s too early to tell for sure. The 225 JS on squat felt good. Pretty sure I had 245 in me, so carbs and hormones actually make a difference (no shit, right?).

Going to go for a long walk tonight, 2 hours, six miles. It’s more meditation than cardio.
Will do SQ and BP at 5’s week weights on Saturday, then move to 3’s week after that. Sort of doing a two day per week 5/3/1 program with 5’s pro, just squatting both days, and will probably get three days per week lifting so I’ll finish a cycle in two weeks, add weight, move on. Strength is coming back faster than I’m increasing, so I’ll do a cycle or two in the mashup and then consider going back to my old style.
Just going to throw this out there. I teach HS English, and one of my former students, a junior this year, killed herself yesterday.
I had her older brother as a freshman four years ago, I had her as a freshman three years ago, and I have her little brother as a freshman this year.
I spoke to my colleague last week about this student’s depression, and we were trying to figure out what’s up.She was a smart, pretty girl. She did well in school, and had a good family.
