Upper Workout

  1. Close Grip Incline (CGI) with fat grips - 5x10 + (5 pullups between sets)
  2. Chest Supported Rows CSR-(keep shoulder blades squeezed/lats back entire set) + DB OHP (5x10 each)
  3. Band Pushdown (20) + Face Pull (12-15) + Hammer Curls (12-15) 3x

Just getting back into the swing of things. Went for the swole today. My weight is back up to 210-212lbs. I’ll be carb cycling this training cycle. I’m looking forward to the results.

All the cool kids are backloading now, idiot. You are such a loser.

Holy LOL, fuck that noise as well. Murph, my gym owner hopped on the carb backloading trend train and because of him, every single damn Powerlifter, Strongman, and Client are on that train.

I don’t think it’s nutritional sound, and I’ll stick to carb cycling because I like eating frequently throughout the day over jacking myself up with 1000mg of caffeine and eating grease.

No thank you.

NOt trying to convince you to do anything but you dont have to back load with junk and you can still eat frequently through out the day

Haha. Awesome assessment. Yeah, that guy loves his caffeine. They are all the same in my mind. I do more of a backloading approach just cuz it fits my lifestyle better right now. I just think its hilarious how it goes in cycles. Two years ago Shelby Starnes was all the rage and carb cycling was the ONLY method…now its Keifer and backloading.

Yeah, I dunno man, I don’t know if I trust the 320lb powerlifters who are saying “KEEFERS DIET MADE ME GO FROM 330 AT 28% bodyfat to 320 at 26% bodyFAT!” as good progress for his system. Funny, I’d rather V-Diet, at least I know that crash diet works to get people to lose bodyfat, although I’ve had great success with carb cycling, which I think is the more sane approach.

Thank you Captain Obvious, I really appreciate your obvious advice on such obvious matters.

Serious question, do you have a sidekick name Duh by any chance?

Wow.

Glad you appreciate it so much

Also to add its not only 30% BF powerlifters doing CBL and getting great results but if you want to be so closed minded to new things that is fine.

Oh and i am side-kick-less ATM

I doubt you meet the gender requirements.

Anyway, not to derail my own Training Log, I trained 6am EST this morning and did this:

G.P.P. Work

Dynamic Warm Up

Prehab/Rehab:
External Rotation work: 3x12
TKE’ss: 3 sets of 15

Energy Systems:
Prowler Pushes - 6 sets (45s rests)

Neglected Muscle Groups:
Split Squats: 3x8 reps
Ab Work: 3x10

Does your balls awesome gym have a prowler too, or do you have your own?

I do bass to mouth, if anyone is still interested.

about 50 seconds in…

Sick, what’s the place called?

I’m going to BC in the fall and am seriously considering dropping the extra cash for a real gym membership so I won’t have to train among asshats in a college gym again lol. Your place sounds like it’s got really everything I could ask for so I’d like to do some travel time/expense research and see if it’s a viable option.
