I’m rather excited to see some realized gains.
Don’t really understand your training template because I’m not PL enough… but big numbers being moved and I’m definitely checking in. I’m right there with you in believing 5/3/1 isn’t the quickest way to improving 1rms, but like you said, it allows people (like me right now) to do pretty much anything assistance wise since it’s basically 1 heavy work set per lift per week, while still edging the lifts up little by little.

That makes two of us haha
I’m also excited that my handler at my meet will be none other than Elitefts sponsored athlete Matt Rhodes. I feel more confident about my meet now since I have a handler who has a good eye for what my attempts should be for my meet.

I use the Block Periodization model for my training. That article is a general run through on its application in Powerlifting. Feel free to ask questions man
This is one of the lifters I coach, Prof. Lauren Cohen. He’s 8 weeks out from USAPL Men’s Nationals. He was breaking in his new custom squat suit with two doubles at 735lbs. I expect him to hit proper depth next Sunday morning.
He’s compete in the former 198lb class, but now the 205lb with the IPF’s reformatted weight classes.
Looks like some of them there orange striped titan knee wraps I see.
I decided to check out your log after your recent bout of trolling shenanigans.
Appreciate all the knowledge bombs bro.

Yeah, they’re a real sonofabitch to wrap and to use right. They have a lot of fight according to Lauren when it comes to the descent.
With how his progression in his new gear has been, I’m expecting him to hit depth next Sunday with doubles at 760lbs. I’ll keep you guys updated if you like to see more of my other lifters’ progress.

I hope you like the log, I like to think of it as a little isolated shrine away from the madness of my trollin’ endeavors.
